I'm 48, and I felt the same way. I'm so used to wearing jeans and t shirts because I'm work from home, but seeing young ladies such as Miss Jemima post fashion hauls stay giving me the "go- ahead" to become bolder in my choices.
Maybe start with just a touch of color on your wardrobe (like a scarf or even a colored accessory), then build from there. Or on your days off, wear more patterned or fun styles that push you to try things new. Even if it's just going to the store or having lunch, you'll see the change in no time, and you'll love it!
