He's trying to make it realistic by starting Goff, we're all aware that picking only each rookie then keeping the one with the better Dev trait is most efficient for Madden 22, but he's clearly trying to emulate a real football team and make it believable, which I really appreciate, that's exactly what past seasons have been missing.

@@illforever4153 you act like goff is legit lmao. he would’ve already traded goff if his cap penalty wasn’t terrible. he drafted two QBs bc he had the opportunity to gain more options g. just because they were both taken early in the draft doesn’t make it unrealistic. it actually makes things super interesting.

So true. On the interception, he had three routes to the right and two on the left. Both on the left are streaks. Godwin is wide open in the corner on the left and he throws the ball into traffic and it gets picked instead. The more I watch him play, the more I realize that he falls in love with certain players and will always try to get them involved, even when they aren't open.
The fact I’m so invested in a player who isn’t even real (Alex Soto) is credit to how bengal has set this series up, job well done
What you could do if you wanna get crazy is after a scramble by Garrison you could sub in Soto so Garrison isn't trying to throw with no energy. After a play or two you could sub Garrison back in. That way it is 95% Garrison but 5% Soto for the fans that want to watch Soto play.
That is a great idea to include both rookies
Rough for Soto, only got one half in the preseason. Feels like he didn’t even get a chance.
As much as i love Soto, garrison just fits Bengals playstyle much better and is more dynamic

I LOVE Alex Soto... but I don't think it should be a debate who starts in Paul Garrison, he is just the perfect guarterback for Bengal and just he is the perfect QB for madden and the way things are trending, real life
The goofball NEEDS to be traded while he is still somewhat young with star development. Maybe try to fill in other holes on defense with assets from the Goofball. If we want to keep it realistic, Jared Goff would have demanded a trade by now for sure! Get something for him while you can
I agree, but I’m pretty sure bengal said in the off-season video that Goff has something like a 20 million dollar penalty if he’s released, and getting traded still triggers that.

100% right but as stated, the cap penalty is too high. You’d basically have to throw away offseason acquisitions for the next 2-3 years. Plus his young talent is gonna need to be resigned. Goofball stays for depth

Garrison is by far my favorite low key and I feel like I’m not the only one, he’s younger, fits bengals play style, and the number 2 overall pick in the draft, super slept on and I’m not sure why

Yea. It's hard to emulate real football, because you have to often do things that hold you back in madden. So I appreciate the realism
A cool thing you could do if you change playbooks to like Vegas or Baltimore is by playing in the split formation “heisman” it will put your number 2 QB at Halfback
