I went on it today and I have some thoughts: -Clearly the Optare EV Electric buses aren’t ready. -The drivers definitely need to get used to the route, they seemed to struggle on the hail and ride and in my case the driver asked a passenger for directions which is no big deal as it’s new to many drivers, but buses were late and journey times considerably longer. I saw two 322’s running at the same time. -The seats are more comfortable but the legroom on most seats are horrendous. Best seats are towards the back of the bus and on the right hand side. -I went on a 64 plate. -Buses overall are better than Go-Ahead.
I also went on it today and the driver was very friendly. In the hail and ride part he just asked a passenger where they wanted to get off as he doesn't know when the bell is pressed if it's to stop immediately or kinda wait for the passenger to indicate roughly where they want to get off. Overall it was a good experience
@@shacarioking5149 I will NEVER forget that awful time 😂🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭 those darts my goodness smashing all over the place. Even the Go-Ahead Enviros are quite jerky. The new Abellio 64 plate is also a bit jerky but you don’t feel it as much probably because of the more comfortable seating.
@@shacarioking5149 A bit small for 170? But they can have em I used to use 170 going to school and I remember when they got new Wright StreetLite buses that weren’t compatible or something and so they went away to another GAL route 😂
