Steve's Manchester Dream

Steve, one of our amazing clients who has Motor Neurone Disease (MND), recently fulfilled his lifelong dream of watching his favourite team #manchesterunited play at #oldtrafford. Our community carer, Natasha Plumley, messaged Manchester United to help fulfil Steve's dream and as part of his specialist care team, assisted Steve in travelling to and from the game. She also played a vital role in helping raise money to make the trip possible.
MND and progress very rarely go hand in hand, typically it's regression, but Steve has made significant improvements which has clearly had a huge impact on his quality of life. It was only 18 months ago that Steve lost the ability to walk and talk. A truly inspirational and heart warming story. Well done to Steve and Natasha! #ANewcrossStory
