I have been praying in my prayer language for 42 years. What believers need to understand is that once you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you need to open your mouth and make words come out! Tongues will not just come out. You are in total control to start and to stop. Remember, Holy Spirit gently leads and demons drive! Keep praying until you feel peace! It is one of the best weapons that God has given us and Satan does Not want us to use it!
I can verify this by personal experience. About four years ago, I started experiencing extreme anxiety. It appeared to come out of nowhere. I started having trouble getting in the car and driving to places I’ve been thousands of times, so I found scripture that I would speak when I got into the car and the entire time I drove, I would speak in tongues. That was the only thing that would get me through. Very encouraging hearing that I’m not the only one that had been dealing with this. I kept saying but God I’m a strong believer. I know that you’re bigger than this.and it was a struggle, but he’s getting me through it.
Its an actual spirit of depression and anxiety as described in psalm 91 ,,about the terrors of night , demons are sent to plant the spirit of depression anxiety, and discouragement during midnight hours in order to bring discouragement and lack of passion for all things about God, when you do night vigils ,the way i did, God led me to find out why,i was depressed with anxiety when i had no reason for whatsoever, he give me the revelation, when one night i was doing night praying vigils, and i actually felth that unclean spirit of darkness come over me, I rebuked it in Jesus name, using the authority ,it actually left , and i felt very different , certain entities are let out during the day,and some during the night , that suggest that the spiritual realm operates under an order . As a side note ,in the flesh , one must be careful of what we eat before we go to bed, the foods are being poisoned by the enemy to attacks Gods creation, there is a stomach bacteria called H pylori ,that is responsible to trigger depression anxiety and discouragement , so many more ways of attacks that we need to be vigilant .

Also make sure you are in a posture of receiving as tongues is a gift. And a gift is to be received. Then thank him you have received it by faith. It will begin to flow from your born again spirit into a prayer language out of your mouth.

I use to have severe anxiety and depression and speaking in tongues and giving my issues to God has made a major difference in my life and transforming my mind to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the wonderful things He has done for us. I was never one to really feel anxiety until the last few years. I survived a tornado about 10 years ago. When my husband and I moved to our current location and there was a chance of a tornado my anxiety would be so high. Every time I find myself praying in tongues. This calms the storm inside while the storm rages outside. As a bonus any tornado has missed us or even dissipated. Hallelujah!

I am trying to get back to "speaking in tongues" because I was criticized by other Christians and allowed their criticism to impact me. I realize I was given this gift because I could speak, sing, and do warfare for hours in tongues! Perhaps this is the reason!
i literally cant make this up. i was experiencing high heart rate due to anxiety and bowel issues and this is something that tends to happen every day, multiple times a day sometimes. i usually have to sit for some time to get my heart rate down. this video popped up as i was sitting and i decided to watch it and pray in tongues after. I KID YOU NOT. my heart rate has slowed down so much and it felt like so much peace and I wasnt anxious . in 2020 i had been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and misdiagnosed with an incurable heart condition (which wasnt true its just that the anxiety was THAT bad). it took my life away almost completely, but the Lord has saved me and delivered me from so much since then. this year it seemed that anxiety has started to creep back in pretty heavily, but I will be praying in tongues and having faith for FULL DELIVERANCE in Jesus name. thank you for this!!!

Pastor Mike, I have always said praying in tongues is the greatest gift and tool that I have received. When I got baptized in the Holy Ghost I was struggling with thoughts and I was being spiritually attacked at night. When I prayed in tongues for the first time it got swipped out of my mind and there was just peace and serenity. Since then I always knew that speaking in tongues was key in surrendering to Gods perfect will and letting go of control and when I prayed in the spirit I am free from racing thoughts, worry and anxiety.

My Grandmother was my WORLD bc she showed me such sweet love, that sweet love was her love for Christ. So I have literally NEVER can I remember a day without Jesus. She also spoke prophetically in the church, she brought forth a word from God in Tongues. I was always so amazed and it NEVER scared me. I would try to initiate her and she would laugh when I was like 4 yrs old. But I have never received the gift. I have always thought it was bc of my afflictions. She took was an alcoholic and on her death bed she found Christ and NEVER looked back. A big difference between us is , I did. Always going back to the vomit and I have hated myself so badly, I couldn't receive the fact God really loved me. Bc of self hate, demons got to me at age 4 when a 17 yr old molested me. I started at that age thinking perverse but I KNEW it was VERY wrong. And I didn't know why all my life I have been suicidal. Ever since preteen or younger. Now I know I had a demon that young. It's sad. Very. Sensitive, giving, caring, wanted love so bad but never loved me. Ive been sober from alcohol 3 yrs now. But I still have Alot of mess I need to stop and want to. Been saved, repentance, Deliverance, baptism 4 times bc I always felt so dirty. But I knew I was good. I hated horror movies or anything bad or ugly. But something would happen and sin would come in again. I'm doing better. Why do you think I can't get it like my Ma-Ma Dana did ? Jesus spoke to me 3 yrs ago in my left ear, He said "I will use you". I could not believe JESUS spoke to ME ! Then He whispered "YESHUA", while I was telling my daughter what happened. It was THE VOICE OF GOD ! I never heard Anyone really talk about HIS Voice sounding crisp, gentle, soft, audio like. But later listened to Pastor Isaiah Salvadairs testimony about how he heard the same voice. I also felt SO STRONGLY in my Spirit, JESUS IS COMIING BACK & SOONER THAN WE THINK. And I want that more than anything I have ever WANTED in my entire life. Is to see JESUS FACE TO FACE. But I don't know that I will if I keep going back to sinful ways. I have the worst anxiety, panic attacks, sweats, pacing, shaky hands. My aunt was telling my daughter about how bad my hands would shake as a child. Always feared everything. Praying in tongues is new to me just like praying was at one point. And I can say the things broken off thru praying in tongues were a miracle. Knowing this is a gift to help us break things off like anger, anxiety, fear... it's absolutely essential to maintaining the presence of the Lord so close. Some things need a deeper prayer and this type of praying is powerful and effective. I broke a complicated offense and anxiety that followed by praying this way as one of my 1st experiences with tongues. The grip completely released off me and God blessed me with so much peace and understanding. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. 2COR 10:4
I’ve been dealing with anxiety/fear since 2016 (depression under control with meds & lifestyle change). I feel that this is my life now to be like this. I’m always in flight or fight. Fear the smallest things and my life is very limited with what I can do now mentally. I do not have the gift of speaking in tongues. & I don’t think I live holy enough to receive it….. I will still pray for it. I appreciate the video
It’s got nothing to with you being holy. That is a hindrance from the devil. Tongues is a gift to be received. It is not by works or how good you are. It’s by his amazing grace towards you. Just accept it. He wants you to have it to edify and build you up. Perhaps pray for God to bring someone alongside you to pray with you til it comes. That’s how it happened for many years ago but just stay open to his leading. He loves you.

I've been waking up almost in a panic. Breathing hard and physical pain in my shoulders and into my arms and hands. I don't know if it was a dream nightmare? But I am so overwhelmed and just want to curl up or run. Don't want to read or listen to worship. Just hide and not think about anything! PTSD!

I just spilt my guts on my comment, I didnt share what helped me soooo much one time and i got made fun of for it by proffessiinals at the ER. I kept repeating Gods promises, the scriptures i knew. The two i really stood on and helped me tremendously while i didnt know if i was going to die or not were Isaiah 54:17 May No weapon formed against me shall prosper. The other one was Isaiah 53:5 By HIS Stripes we are healed...Their is more to it than that but that for me was the scripture in a nut shell. Hope that can help. When I pray to God, I talk to him in my mind and heart, not out loud, so the enemy has no idea whats going on in my life and I tell God everything I'm feeling and what I need and desire the way a child would come to their Father. And praying in the Spirit is amazing, what a game changer and it deals with whatever the enemy is doing in our lives! I also like to take authority over any fear or anxiety by commanding spirit of fear and anxiety to leave in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord for who you are.🙏❤
I had raging anxiety for months on end. I felt the Holy Spirit say, wake up and HOUR early every day and pray in tongues for one hour straight. (Keep in mind I had horrible insomnia so my body was pushing against me getting out of bed, I so desperately wanted to sleep). I did it for one day but stopped. God still in His mercy pulled me out of that hell. But Looking back now, I see I should have obeyed and I could have been set free way sooner.
This is so me. But also the enemy likes to use the tactic of guilt to keep you from casting these things onto the Lord as we should and as He has said we can.
I experience anxiety often. I was experiencing anxiety last week. My daughter encouraged me to pray in tongues. I did, and I started feeling better. Praise God! 😇

* 10 seconds in to your first couple sentences. I bear witness that speaking in tongues is the only thing that would lift any type of heaviness off of me . When I felt such a heaviness that regular prayer did not seem to have an effect the moment I mean the moment I started praying in the spirit I could feel it lift. It is that quick. Sometimes I may need to pray in the spirit a little longer than at other times it doesn't matter you do it until it breaks! 🤗🙏💜
Ya know what’s funny is that yesterday during prayer I was expressing to him my deep concern about how mental health & the toll it takes on one’s body can greatly impact us. It is nowhere near spoken about often, if at all & it frustrates me so much. God made our minds with intent & we tend to neglect it. We don’t talk about processing emotions, trauma & the long lasting side affects that has on our bodies if we don’t check ourselves daily. Society has taught us to numb ourselves & to just ignore how we feel, we pay the consequences of that later on in life. It’s time to start asking the Holy Spirit to help us examine every thought & emotion so that we can be better equipped to handle/process them. It’s true that God can supernaturally restore us through his divinity, prayer, fasting etc. but it’s also our responsibility to take care of the bodies he gave us. Not just physically & spiritually but, mentally & emotionally as well.
I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH ANXIETY AND PANIC ATTACKS FOR 34 YEARS. PRAYING IN MY SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE/TONGUES DOES LESSEN IT. I HAVE NOT BEEN HEALED OF IT, BUT I JUST KEEP SAYING I AM WALKING IN MY HEALING.

I've been praying in tongues a lot and I've had deep encounters with God showing me how much he loves me. A lot of things I never thought would happen in my life has been happening

I SING in tongues (I am a lifelong musician, so I just can't help bursting into song) and there have been times when it truly seemed to open a heavenly portal. Thank you SO much for this wonderful reminder of the power of this way of worshiping/communing with God b💜
Remember the verse before that. We are commanded to rejoice in the lord always and again I say rejoice. Rejoicing in the Lord is also a part of overcoming anxious thoughts. We have to choose to rejoice. It’s a powerful weapon against the enemy.

I read that book and after that he walked you through it at the end of the book and I remember sitting in my bed I had my Bible out had other teaching materials and also my concordance that my pastor had given me at church and that little book and I was reading the little book and then I started looking at the scriptures and at the end of the book it said to ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and there was a prayer and from that day on I started speaking in tongues God is good God has truly changed my life October 30th 1986. I know the Holy Spirit will fill you in the name of Jesus he is our comforter and he will guide us illuminate us with his spirit🙌🏽🙏 thank you Jesus

I had such a terribly anxious day yesterday and I was about to video a ranting video but decided to pray and worship and hand over the stuff causing the anxiety and some amazing things happened besides relieving me of the anxiety. Speaking in tongues does help anxiety. But its hard to do in certain spaces. Talking in tongues i noticed helps. Wild i just saw this and ive been dealing with this and asking God t0 help me

Pastor mike you mention that you bought the communion cups from Amazon and told us you recommend us doing the same . I did and started taking communion at home and I must say it’s a game changer ! It is a powerful act to remember what Christ paid for me to make me whole praise God !!!

My Grandmother was my WORLD bc she showed me such sweet love, that sweet love was her love for Christ. So I have literally NEVER can I remember a day without Jesus. She also spoke prophetically in the church, she brought forth a word from God in Tongues. I was always so amazed and it NEVER scared me. I would try to initiate her and she would laugh when I was like 4 yrs old. But I have never received the gift. I have always thought it was bc of my afflictions. She took was an alcoholic and on her death bed she found Christ and NEVER looked back. A big difference between us is , I did. Always going back to the vomit and I have hated myself so badly, I couldn't receive the fact God really loved me. Bc of self hate, demons got to me at age 4 when a 17 yr old molested me. I started at that age thinking perverse but I KNEW it was VERY wrong. And I didn't know why all my life I have been suicidal. Ever since preteen or younger. Now I know I had a demon that young. It's sad. Very. Sensitive, giving, caring, wanted love so bad but never loved me. Ive been sober from alcohol 3 yrs now. But I still have Alot of mess I need to stop and want to. Been saved, repentance, Deliverance, baptism 4 times bc I always felt so dirty. But I knew I was good. I hated horror movies or anything bad or ugly. But something would happen and sin would come in again. I'm doing better. Why do you think I can't get it like my Ma-Ma Dana did ? Jesus spoke to me 3 yrs ago in my left ear, He said "I will use you". I could not believe JESUS spoke to ME ! Then He whispered "YESHUA", while I was telling my daughter what happened. It was THE VOICE OF GOD ! I never heard Anyone really talk about HIS Voice sounding crisp, gentle, soft, audio like. But later listened to Pastor Isaiah Salvadairs testimony about how he heard the same voice. I also felt SO STRONGLY in my Spirit, JESUS IS COMIING BACK & SOONER THAN WE THINK. And I want that more than anything I have ever WANTED in my entire life. Is to see JESUS FACE TO FACE. But I don't know that I will if I keep going back to sinful ways. I have the worst anxiety, panic attacks, sweats, pacing, shaky hands. My aunt was telling my daughter about how bad my hands would shake as a child. Always feared everything. People have abused me so badly since a child til not to long ago. Please pray for me you guys

🙏🏻❤️ I was sleeping speaking in tongues to the point it woke me up this took place after a violent event took place in my neighborhood! That never happen to me until that night! But I had spoke in tongues a few times when I prayed for that gift many years before! 🙏🏻❤️

I swear I’ve seen this guy before….maybe I just see vinnie from jersey shore in his eyes…either way I love listening to him…he speaks so fluently it all just comes out of his mouth naturally, that’s how you know it’s truth, like from experience. And he doesn’t mind letting it all be out in the open for the sake of gods teachings and as a pastor that’s a grave thing to do! God bless you!

This is amazing, in every direction in my life God has been insisting that I pray in tongues. I had an inkling this video would be about praying in tongues because of the way God has been speaking to me lately, but I’m still amazed!

Praying in tongues is new to me just like praying was at one point. And I can say the things broken off thru praying in tongues were a miracle. Knowing this is a gift to help us break things off like anger, anxiety, fear... it's absolutely essential to maintaining the presence of the Lord so close. Some things need a deeper prayer and this type of praying is powerful and effective. I broke a complicated offense and anxiety that followed by praying this way as one of my 1st experiences with tongues. The grip completely released off me and God blessed me with so much peace and understanding. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. 2COR 10:4
I’ve been dealing with anxiety/fear since 2016 (depression under control with meds & lifestyle change). I feel that this is my life now to be like this. I’m always in flight or fight. Fear the smallest things and my life is very limited with what I can do now mentally. I do not have the gift of speaking in tongues. & I don’t think I live holy enough to receive it….. I will still pray for it. I appreciate the video
It’s got nothing to with you being holy. That is a hindrance from the devil. Tongues is a gift to be received. It is not by works or how good you are. It’s by his amazing grace towards you. Just accept it. He wants you to have it to edify and build you up. Perhaps pray for God to bring someone alongside you to pray with you til it comes. That’s how it happened for many years ago but just stay open to his leading. He loves you.
1000 yes’s, I was just praying about this and asking God what was wrong with me . I haven’t received the gift of tongues and I pray the Lord gives me this but I need to learn how to cast my burden, I will be praying about this

I've been waking up almost in a panic. Breathing hard and physical pain in my shoulders and into my arms and hands. I don't know if it was a dream nightmare? But I am so overwhelmed and just want to curl up or run. Don't want to read or listen to worship. Just hide and not think about anything! PTSD!

Im sorry for this, i still struggle and its just like you said. I have PTSD as well. I just spilt my guts on my comment, I didnt share what helped me soooo much one time and i got made fun of for it by proffessiinals at the ER. I kept repeating Gods promises, the scriptures i knew. The two i really stood on and helped me tremendously while i didnt know if i was going to die or not were Isaiah 54:17 May No weapon formed against me shall prosper. The other one was Isaiah 53:5 By HIS Stripes we are healed...Their is more to it than that but that for me was the scripture in a nut shell. Hope that can help. I love to helo and i feel others pain deeply. I will be praying for you my friend.
This totally makes sense! I cast my care I pray. But I didn't look at it as HIS! No longer mine!
When I pray to God, I talk to him in my mind and heart, not out loud, so the enemy has no idea whats going on in my life and I tell God everything I'm feeling and what I need and desire the way a child would come to their Father. And praying in the Spirit is amazing, what a game changer and it deals with whatever the enemy is doing in our lives! I also like to take authority over any fear or anxiety by commanding spirit of fear and anxiety to leave in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord for who you are.🙏❤

I had raging anxiety for months on end. I felt the Holy Spirit say, wake up and HOUR early every day and pray in tongues for one hour straight. (Keep in mind I had horrible insomnia so my body was pushing against me getting out of bed, I so desperately wanted to sleep). I did it for one day but stopped.
God still in His mercy pulled me out of that hell. But Looking back now, I see I should have obeyed and I could have been set free way sooner.
This is so me. But also the enemy likes to use the tactic of guilt to keep you from casting these things onto the Lord as we should and as He has said we can.
I experience anxiety often. I was experiencing anxiety last week. My daughter encouraged me to pray in tongues. I did, and I started feeling better. Praise God! 😇
I randomly thought this week that toungues was somthing I felt I needed to help with eveything going on in my life. I just haven't received it yet. I pray God allows me the ability soon.

When I felt such a heaviness that regular prayer did not seem to have an effect the moment I mean the moment I started praying in the spirit I could feel it lift. It is that quick. Sometimes I may need to pray in the spirit a little longer than at other times it doesn't matter you do it until it breaks! 🤗🙏💜
Ya know what’s funny is that yesterday during prayer I was expressing to him my deep concern about how mental health & the toll it takes on one’s body can greatly impact us. It is nowhere near spoken about often, if at all & it frustrates me so much. God made our minds with intent & we tend to neglect it. We don’t talk about processing emotions, trauma & the long lasting side affects that has on our bodies if we don’t check ourselves daily. Society has taught us to numb ourselves & to just ignore how we feel, we pay the consequences of that later on in life. It’s time to start asking the Holy Spirit to help us examine every thought & emotion so that we can be better equipped to handle/process them. It’s true that God can supernaturally restore us through his divinity, prayer, fasting etc. but it’s also our responsibility to take care of the bodies he gave us. Not just physically & spiritually but, mentally & emotionally as well.
I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH ANXIETY AND PANIC ATTACKS FOR 34 YEARS. PRAYING IN MY SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE/TONGUES DOES LESSEN IT. I HAVE NOT BEEN HEALED OF IT, BUT I JUST KEEP SAYING I AM WALKING IN MY HEALING.

Wow what a on time word! I’ve been in one of the hardest seasons in my life being 5 months post partum dealing with anxiety that has affected me and has kept me from being my normal happy self.. I've been praying in tongues a lot and I've had deep encounters with God showing me how much he loves me. A lot of things I never thought would happen in my life has been happening
I never comment but…. Thank you, I needed this. The anxiety has been getting worse. Yesterday I started having thoughts about writing things I am thankful for, this is confirmation. This gave me peace. All praise and glory to God almighty, all powerful. I haven’t received the gift of tongues yet but the I believe the Lord has prepared this gift for such a time as this.

Its great that you bought up this subject ,,, in My case ,, as described in psalm 91 ,about the terrors of night , God had given me the understanding that it was a spirit that was planting a spirit of depression and anxiety during midight , I had no reason to feel this way, therefore ,during night vigils , I could clearly feel when that spirit was trying to make contact with me, and i rebuked it under the authority and in the name of Jesus , Satan uses alot of his demons to plant the spirit of depression , anxiety , that makes you feel sad discouraged and powerless, especially with lack of passion for the gospel and ,, If you notice, there are so many suicides amongst the body of Christ, But with righteousness in Christ ,warfare with hight vigils, you will see and feel for yourself the actual demon bringing forth the spiritual poison of depression and anxiety , within minutes , you feel it lifted and gone , I occasionally do night vigils when my spirit tells me to,
I am like your daughter.. leaning toward the negative. I will write 10 things I'm grateful for. God is helping me by what you're teaching. thank you.

Rejoicing in the Lord is also a part of overcoming anxious thoughts. We have to choose to rejoice. It’s a powerful weapon against the enemy.

When I came to the Lord I was baptized in the holy Spirit speaking in tongues, at one time I stopped and a pastor came up to me and said the Lord showed him that I wasn't speaking in tongues no more in towns no more, so then when he said that then I started doing it again!! Yes when my husband walked out on us and then my dad passes away 4 dsys later my grandbaby's dad is murder i sat down anxiety started and i started to speak in tonques and received peace

@@hannahrising2131ask the Holy Spirit to come in amd fill you with His Spirit. There's a book from Kenneth Hagin i think ot says Holy Spirit its a small book. I read that book and after that he walked you through it at the end of the book and I remember sitting in my bed I had my Bible out had other teaching materials and also my concordance that my pastor had given me at church and that little book and I was reading the little book and then I started looking at the scriptures and at the end of the book it said to ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and there was a prayer and from that day on I started speaking in tongues God is good God has truly changed my life October 30th 1986. I know the Holy Spirit will fill you in the name of Jesus he is our comforter and he will guide us illuminate us with his spirit🙌🏽🙏 thank you Jesus

Mike~ I only got in on the live video at the end and watched it today. I had such a terribly anxious day yesterday and I was about to video a ranting video but decided to pray and worship and hand over the stuff causing the anxiety and some amazing things happened besides relieving me of the anxiety. I did also pray in tongues. This is so helpful and I believe so many people including me need to hear this. Thank you for your transparency ❤️✝️❤️
Speaking in tongues does help anxiety. But its hard to do in certain spaces. Talking in tongues i noticed helps. Wild i just saw this and ive been dealing with this and asking God t0 help me
