Yo Fillipino bros, if you think her pronounciations is perfect then it seems like Indonesian and Tagalog pronounciations are similar if not the same, because if I was gonna sing those lyrics on screen I'd also speak em words the way Michon speak it and I am -Javanese- Indonesian

it is actually. Tagalog(shortened form of 'taga-ilog' or river people) as a dialect were spoken by tribes near the pasig river which were probably people who came from malaysia and/or indonesia. So basically, we have the same ancestors.
When we're saying "SEA cousins" we're telling the truth 😂

Our ancestors includes "Indones" after all.

Filipinos, Indonesians, and Malaysians are all part of the Austronesian race so it makes sense why our languages sound the same but still have different grammar and even words. And the funny thing is that I'm mistaken for being an Indonesian or Malaysian when I went to Kuala Lumpur one time.

Well tagalog is pretty much a jumbled up pool of words from indo and spanish and probably some others

@@P3ndragon025 interesting, because learning some theories of Austronesian spread it says the peoples probably came to Philippines first before spreading to the Indonesian Islands and malay peninsular. Of course this doesn't mean people in the islands and peninsula couldn't migrate back to the Philippines islands, entirely possible too.

Explanation to all the mindblown Filipino in the comment, Indonesian and Tagalog pronounciation are mostly same
An Indonesian can read Tagalog really well but it will feel like scrambled Indonesian with some words having the same meaning (and vice versa probably)
