I have been using 8/256 M1 variant and to be honest, this laptop is only suitable for simple edits like cuts and paste. If you are an editor who uses multiple fusion edits, green screen effects, zoom in and out, transitions, multiple text effects and all, don't go for this laptop. M1 air is meant for light work, so if your core purpose is editing, go for laptops like gaming laptops in windows or MacBook Pro models for editing
macbook m1 if u get it under 55k, galaxy book 4 has more ram and storage but its extremely expensive, plus nothing beats macbook battery performance, but u will face some issues with macbook in terms of installing certain apps, like virtual machines if u are a cse student etc etc
