Im champ2 whos more specialized into mechs so im not the right person to say, But I feel like if you were having the same issues as me in diamond > champ, its probably due to the following reasons. -Letting go of the ball often. (Through powershots/clears) -Having low % saving enemy shots(due to rotations) -Bad decision making in attack -Not improving things that compliment what your best at. -Uncomfortable challenging backwards -Randomly 50-50ing in corners. -Overall Boost management

It sounds like alot for a diamond however I do want to be a freestyler and therefore have hit many flip resets in games
Checked those grand champs on RL tracker....nothing but boosted bums. Theres one that goes from c2 to almost gc3 and back down to low c3 within 6 months. And from c2 to GC div 4 in 5 days and back down to c2 in 5 days time! Dropping from gc3 to c3 in 5 days is clear enough evidence of boosting to call it, especially if you climbed from c2 to gc2 in a week also. (i break controllers, i play drunk, i play solo, i play with a consistent friend, i play with different brands of controllers and i only peak twice a month) but i dont drop or climb more than 4-6 divisions in 1 weeks time when i average 20 games a day......

I agree with what Wahvey said around 0:38better players are easier to play against because they are predictable and the better player can fall for any tricks you try to pull because they are good. A bad player will not know a thing and because of their lack of game sense and not knowing how to do anything or what to play it actually trips me up. It is not harder but instead you feel awkward because of how easy it is while not knowing what the player will do next because you can not read the enemy if the enemy does not know what they themselves are doing.
facts bro i usually win more games against two champs in comp than a champ and a diamond for example because the diamonds plays are strange and unpredictable

Depends which level of ssl. Personally I feel like SSL is into three ranks like 1,2,3. Low, mid, high ssl’s.

Yeah I find it difficult playing in gc2 compared to ssl. It’s just so unpredictable as the rank has such a variety of skill levels.
