- A Nrityanidhi performance that was a part of "ASMI" Contemporary Sufi Kathak.
"ASMI" is a small step towards encouraging people to come closer to their 'SELF'!!
Asmi has an underlying message for our audience to feel a connection to the 'self' in order to feel a deeper connection with the Universe at large!!

In her closing address Shoma Kaikini explained their confidence building effort through this form of performance.I felt it was absolutely correct watching them live on 12th nov 2012 in Bangalore.What a team play!

I will always remember ASMI - the house full show, stars and the lyricist and music director and so many kalakars... All the best Nrityanidhi. Nrityanidhi, while teaching graceful movements in sync with the rhythm & the meaning of the song, helps its participants to takeoff like a butterfly, leaving behind the cocoon of inhibition, complexes, opinions, concepts & philosophies which one acquires during ones bringing up!
Be and it is! It is in the gift of humanity to be able to explain gratitude for our creation and the creator through the medium of dance and music, when one decides to dance to such a song, the devotion and love is self explicit.

A sanely performance. I was completely sinked with the rhythmic flow of their Sufiana body movements and with the tune of the song narrative. It was a sort of an ambrosial bliss that landed my inner into a theta state of brain waves; cutting me off from the outside world. 🙏
