they need to do more of this.. its a good game with a solid multiplayer and thier natural chemsitry together just fits the game..
They should do this like GTA IV Cops and crooks part 4 where they change up the teams every round

I feel like each person has something specific their good at: Gavin is good at stealth, Ray is good at fps, Ryan is good at RPGs (based on far cry and destiny)' jack is good at arcade games, Michael is pretty good at brawling based games and Geoff is good at puzzle games(like peggle)
+Dylan Granum I think he is. When he isn't goofing around and is playing seriously in splinter cell or assassins creed he does very well.
but when there together as a team they really do there best cause they have such a close bond that they know how to react to each other they are truly the best team to watch and have fun

Duel Verse I think far cry is kind of like an rpg since you can level up and pick different skills to use
Michael and Jack are also quite good at platformers, though in Michael's case that's probably because of practice in Rage Quit as much as anything.
for future reference the adrenaline also makes you impossible to get shocked and lights up the screen and you can run longer

Taylor Pattison well in my opinion it wasn't that difficult. if done right you can beat the spies melee
@@taylorpattison2733 I know I'm 6 years late, but if a merc is running straight at a spy who is also running toward the same merc, the merc is guaranteed to get the melee kill against the spy. Mercs have a generous melee window that knowledgeable spies are actually wary of knifing mercs from the front, even if they are in range.

ConorCL92 Peggle, Angry Birds, and many others, I'm sure most of the time he kinda just fucks around for comedic effect, but he proves in VS now that he is actually good at games.
Thing is he only recently started doing well with that considering the 1st few times around i think 3-4 maybe 5 times he didnt win one game, He is learning the balance of screwing around and being good. As for Peggle i would say he is decent not good at personally, because 2 people who never played it were on par with him, just saying ^^ Holy crap this comment is still receiving attention :D
Gavin is pretty good at games. I'm still surprised at just how good he can be. It's almost a shame that he screws around for comedic effect.
I'm friends with a guy that knows the AH crew personally. Gavin is a lot smarter than people give him credit for. When it comes to video editing, filming, and other things outside of games, he's one of the smartest guys in the AH office. But him in LPs is actually how he is.

It feels nostalgic coming back to these videos. Make me realize how long I’ve been watching Let’s Play.
Looking back at this video… this game was actually really solid for being so old. The graphics, gameplay, mechanics are all what I’d expect from like a Ubisoft game these days like R6 or soemthing

I love Jack, but he truly does not understand the element of surprise. Ryan did kind of mislead him, but spies are absolutely not invulnerable at three feet unless the merc is not expecting you to be there. If a spy is getting shot by a merc, they have already lost the fight. Pressing X is not an instant kill.
Man so much has changed since this video came out, I miss the old days of both my life and AH

Liam Megson Single player was a step up from Conviction, though not as good as the PS2 games. Multiplayer was great for 6 months, then everyone ran the ultimate cheese loadouts (cloaks and drones everywhere), and Ubisoft never balanced anything, so the multiplayer started being awful. Co-op was still fun, though.

So, wait. Gavin is the joke of the office for being incompetent at video games. Why, then, does he seem passably good at stealth games?
Nobody like to watch boring lets play of casual play through, it's much more fun when they goof around, saying "FISH" and touching each others balls...
Plus if you knew anything about Gavin, he has over 2k Halo 2 games, he's a good player.

I'm sure Gavin is probably decent at a lot of games, but when it comes to Let's Plays, he prefers to make it funny and interesting by trying to be more of a joke than an actual player, as he has previously stated in previous videos. He's also stated before that he loves Hitman, so he probably takes Let's Plays in stealth games a little more seriously.
I come back to this vid every so often because this is one of the only great videos I can find of this game

+Eevee™ That's in alot of stealth games, but unlike the AI, a person will notice when a light is shot out when it happens, and in this game, there is plenty of spots to hide so it isn't necessary

volt792000 No, that is just Geoff being Geoff and Gavin being Gavin. But Gavin's attitude of always pushing to (and often over) the edge, makes him quite prone for a friendly tussle.
Does no one remember the little game Gavin used to play? Attack Geoff Every Day? You know the one where he'd just randomly attack Geoff for no reason once a day? I think Geoff is well within his rights to give Gavin the occasional slap around.
Depends what the Mercs use. They have RFD goggles that highlight Spies using abilities (which replaces the motion tracker radar), so that would turn that cloak into a brightly-highlighted giveaway.

The cloak is such bullshit. Who thought invisible people in a stealth game was balanced?
It doesn't last that long and is easy to disable.

night4345 the mercs have a set of goggles that spot you if you have cloak on. There's also a disruption suit that can disable all spy abilities when active.
night4345 multiplayer in this game was unbalanced. Every spy ran cloak, trophy system, and Five-Seven pistol, and every Merc ran Drone, Assault Rifle, and mines, and playing on either team sucked because you were constantly dead. It started out fun, but did NOT stay that way.

LPs like this always make me sad because Jack is fucking hilarious. It makes me sad b/c he is so quiet in 90% of LPs, he really has great potential but since he is shy and/or not confident in his humor he doesn't let himself shine- and for that alot of the community flames him =/

The cloak actually isn't too bad. The faster you move, the less invisible you are, its reload time is pretty heavy, and it doesn't last too too long when you activate it. Its very useful, but very short.

Ik this is a old vid but I thought I should say this, in this there are three spy classes wich I can't remember what the third one dose, but each class has there own stats, the one that Gavin is useing to start with is basically the sneaky one with little health, then we got what the others are useing that is the most balanced one I believe but it dose have more health, then the last one I think has a little more speed. Mecs has classes two with there own version of radar changed by helmet which you can customize, I personally like the little bar one, it takes up less space and it's slightly more spiscific. Anyways the mercs classes are a jamming, a hunter killer drone seen on how Gavin is useing and then the basic
You can also customize different pieces of spy equipment, from boots to goggles, they change how your spy will play, if you want to go a stealthy tank of a spy get equipment that is mostly stealth and health

I love the fact that you could put together an entire video of these guys playing Splinter Cell games and accidentally throwing grenades, or throwing really terrible grenades. It's practically their signature for this series.

These are the one of their best let's play series.
You'd be amazed how much real-research goes into making a game. Especially history-oriented games like the Assassin's Creed series; the game developers actually go to wherever the game takes place and look at the architecture to make the game as life-like as possible.

Michael is the best at close quarters in the office. It's a range in which he consistently beats Ray AND Ryan. Considering where most of the combat happens in this game...
There is also the fact that they did a LP of this before but with just 4 of them.
So, list of games that Gavin is legitimately good at is now:
1. Splinter Cell
2. Skate 3: Hall of Meat mode
3. Loadout
He's actually good at stealth. As hard as it is to believe lol. He was always either winning or in the top 3 in the Assassin's Creed Let's Plays.
Definitely one of the more enjoyable let's plays to watch.

Gavin was hauling ass with the Shotgun, Knife, and the Drone.
One of the best MP experiences ever! The asymmetrical gameplay works so well. I preferred the Classic Mode where it's 2v2 but you have fixed load outs & it's much darker. The need for teamwork is crucial. I hope they do a current gen version of this mode in a new Splinter Cell game.
