Hi @uniquetune0101, I'm the guy who made the video! Of course you can get good results with a less expensive audio interface. The question is if the last few percent are worth the money to you :) But before investing in high quality preamps, it probably makes sense to invest in high quality instruments, mics and to treat the room.
If that were true outboard audio equipment would drop in price as they would lose the market…that doesn’t seem to be the case there’s levels to this frfr

So this has an output transformer, ams neve 1073 opx doesn’t. Would love a comparison.
To be honest, nowadays you can achieve almost as good results with average audio interfaces as these 2 outrageously expensive examples in this test
