I made Anne Boleyn Six costume from Six the Musical. And yes, the skirt is not ''correct'' - it comes with a little twist that might be of interest to all those who are also on a budget!
The costume I made here ended up costing just about 50 Euros.
    Materials I used:
    * Green iridescent faux leather vinyl: www.amazon.com...
    * Diamond embossed black faux leather: www.aliexpress...
    * Silver pyramid studs: local dollar store (cca. 13 meters bought)
    Music:

Some interpretations of the costumes are my own, source for the rest: couponqueen.co...

I truly admire ppl that can create stuff. I create ideas, but not real things. Keep it up and take your time explaining for those who are less talented :-)

Wow! I get a strong SciFi vibe from all the outfits. The use of geometric shapes and lines are quite pleasing. Great job with the dress, it’s so well done, and a good color on you. Happy New Year! Looking forward to more inspiring videos, have a wonderful year!

Maybe I'm just older than dirt, but somehow those costumes really disgust me. Those women suffered so terribly... Anne had to watch as five men, her friends, one her brother, were beheaded. (if she didn't literally watch she certainly knew it was happening!) .... the horrors they had to face because an evil, rapacious, incredibly arrogant king noticed them has always tugged at my heart strings more than normal... I truly pity them. Henry is the one who should have been beheaded. They could have fled the land, begged protection from the Pope, but did they even think of doing so? - certainly, not Anne Boleyn, she was probably confident and complacent enough not realize what kind of beast he really was. The utter glamour of queenship, blinding her. Heck, I would have run to the closest French cloistered convent, taken the veil and got on my knees to thank God, and considered myself, lucky. There is nothing modern about what they faced. Sorry if this offends anyone... but darn, show some respect. Like I say, I'm old I really am starting to realize this generation isn't easily understood.
Oh, and happy New Year, everyone, consider this the ranting of your old grandmother who read too many histories of the Tudors when young.

I am certain you are not older than dirt, unless you are older than 4 billion years!
Henry VIII was a serious pig with a galaxy-sized ego even judged by the standards of his own time. On the bright side, he and Anne Boleyn created Elizabeth I, who is arguably one of the greatest ever rulers of Great Britain, one of the greatest ever ruling queens/empresses, and who remains a quite incredibly strong, independent female role model 400 years later.
I consider Henry VIII's luckiest wife to be Anne of Cleves. Apparently he saw a painting of her, said he had to have her, when she arrived he said eww you're ugly, and married her anyway for a short time. Then he divorced her and said she could be his "sister." Apparently his last wife, Katherine Parr, got along with him okay because she was basically just nursing him at that point in his life. The first wife, Catherine of Aragon, had been married to his older brother, who had died, so she had no choice and had to marry the spare. Can you imagine?! (The princesses in both the new Willow show and Witcher blood origin, are both presented as strong independent women, because they don't want to agree to their respective arranged marriages, which will bring peace to more than one kingdom.)
I agree these women suffered, but I think basically all women who have ever existed have suffered a lot, unless they're fortunate enough to be living in the western world from maybe 1900 onward (debatable start point). Imagine living without electricity or modern medicine - not to mention basic human rights, which 95% of men did not have either. Imagine how women in countries like Saud¡ Ar@bia and Qat@r are living now. They're not even allowed to leave the house without the permission of their husband or father or other male guardian.
I understand your point which I think is that this musical trivializes Henry VIII's wives' sufferings. On the one hand, it does. On the other hand, it may bring attention to these women and the conditions they lived in to people who would not otherwise learn about it, or care about it if they only had to read about it in a history class. It very well might inspire people to look up what really happened. For example, almost every Tolkien fan agrees that Rings of Power was horrible. However, apparently sales of Tolkien's books have increased since the show started. So, although the show stunk and was disrespectful to the source material, it did get people interested in reading the source material, or at least watching the Peter Jackson LOTR trilogy.
I hope that makes sense! Happy 2023!
