So let me say this. Im not saying or acting like a pro on lake life. But There are 3 or 4 types of fresh water foliage ive seen. Eel grass is like Seaweed but turns yellow as it ages in the water. Another big one is Milfoil it grows in Big big batches and Usually grants the area some unreal water clarity. The 3rd one is Just plain ole Hydrilla. Now Milfoil is a type of Hydrilla but its more stacked up and It can drown yu. Several ppl have drowned On lake Guntersville in Alabama where i live. Like its super ez to panic and end up drowning becuz it grows from the ground up.
