    When the guy says he doesn't know he does cash advances, 3 options: 1- he has a mistress or hookups 2- the cash advances are automatically withdrawn when his account goes in the negative. 3- He has an addiction, gambling for example.
    Due to the fact they say it's cash, I'm pretty sure he's a cheater or gambler! I mean... was. Pretty sure they didn't make it as a couple.

      @jb6712 Actually, it really comes down to semantics of occupation vs profession.
      Agriculture dates from the Neolithic period of 12 000 years ago at the end of the late Holocene (sorry Young Earth Creationists) while the earliest evidence of professional sex work date to 1200BC (most certainly sex work is much older, there's just an absence of evidence).
      However, that doesn't mean that Neolithic agriculture was a 'profession'. So it really depends on how you view profession vs occupation vs subsistence living.

    I haven't finished the episode but there is absolutely no chance these 2 make it much beyond the show. Just the fact he had 4 kids that didn't live there, she didn't work and they thought it was OK keep expenses separate means they were sunk before they even got away from the dock.

    • @MsJubjubbird
      @MsJubjubbird Месяц назад +2

      It's not uncommon today for couples to keep finances separate, and then just have a small shared account for shared expenses. That way if one of them leaves or passes then the other person ahs a next egg that's readily available. It also means they don't have to explain every item they purchase. The issue is neither of them are responsible spenders and you do still need to communicate if you are having financial issues.

    Notice they lumped the income together? You can tell the house is probably her's from her previous marriage. I'll bet she makes more in just child support (ex must have made much more money), than he does working, with all the child support he owes. He's the "father" of 4 kids, but can't stay focused enough to complete a simple budget on his own, because he could care less. His problem is that he's never grown up (probably never will) and I'll bet he's done this to every woman he's been with. Don't know where all the money from his cash advances goes? This woman is lying to herself. Hope she dumped him, because this kind of guy is a dime a dozen, not worth the time or bother, and she could end up with an STD.

Get up off your ass and help pay for it until you get your regular job back. Unemployment doesnt pay a lot.and her spoiling her kids but leaving his out, regardless of if their in another home is just ick. She likes to lay a lot of blame but cant take responsibility for her own shit. She likes to pretend she's so great at everything, yet 15,0000 is nothing to scoff at. She likes to say she's in control then wtf happen with the money if you're in control. Trying to act like her job is so hard. He killed it and woman do that WHILE employed.

    Any thoughts, everyone? What should we spend on food? Clothing/gifts?

    • @2avcrm
      @2avcrm 2 года назад +6

      It is usually 25% of the income divided out into the jars. Add or subtract from each jar until you find the amount that works for you. If you have extra save it up in an emergency fund. If you don't have enough then you will have to cut back. If you are not able to do the 25% make a list of all your fixed expenses and savings then you get what is left over.
