This brought back some memories! Fished the lake every year from 2007 -2012... sometimes making two trips over, back in the days when John owned it. Had a couple of tricky weeks on there, but also had a few weeks where we had over 100 fish in a week between four of us! My best week being 34 fish to myself. It's strange how some of the fish in there don't really gain weight... (probably because it's quite heavily stocked) that common at around 6.20 i've had twice over 32 and that was some years back. Some mega fish in there though and right scrappers! I think John said there were three cats, yes biggest around 70-80 my mate foulhooked that in the tail one year, then dad had it the year after..... a couple of nice grassies in there too. Good times!
I went there with my dad we caught 6 fish in 1 wk on peg 1 our biggest was 35 lbs!, Great vid and some lovely fish When we went my dads friend caught the 70-80 pound catfish
