What are the money beats that we can use as drummers? Mark Schulman is breaking down how to use simple patterns, grooves, and fills, that have worked over the years to get Mark hired as a drummer, while creating his own sound. "My Job is to love the groove and, therefore, the artist is going to love what I do. I am to be of service." The groove is the feel. This lesson is fill of linear and non linear fills that sound as rock and roll as they come, while also helping us develop our sixteenth, eighth note, eighth note triplet and sextuplet fills and grooves. We'll also be incorporating a lot of ghost notes to fill up the groove and hear the dynamic difference between them.

Are those glasses OSHA approved? Seriously, though, I love how he keeps coming back to the idea that anything is acceptable as long as it's intentional and controlled. I always try to keep that in mind.
