Happy Diwali / Dipawali

I was in Bombay / Mumbai on Tuesday and witnessed their Happy New Years. I was able to film some the fire works from inside my hotel room.
Diwali or Dipawali as it is known as, is the festival of lights. On this day, as the epic says, Lord Ram had returned to his kingdom Ayodhya after demolishing the demon Ravan. Upon his return people enlightened the whole city with diyas (cup shaped oil lamps) to welcome Lord Ram. It is thus a festival to mark the victory of good over evil.
May this festival of lights be the harbinger of joy & prosperity and hope this festival of beauty brings your way, bright sparkles of contentment, that stay with you through the days ahead.
