i love watching your whole family work for a living. I'm filling my greenhouses up, but work by myself, unfortunately my family doesn't care about growing food. Moving further away from growing in fields and now focusing on hydroponics and mycology, having factory style production instead of field reduces my labor demands and takes out a lot of the variables with soil fertility, weather and land leases, but I do I ever miss working large fields, and appreciate you giving a tour of your lifestyle!

@@dertythegrower We may not have a fertilizer shortage in the USA as of yet, but the price has increased exponentially! And your response had nothing to do with what I had asked from the Veggie Boys (and girls). I simply asked if they were increasing their crops or starts as so many new people have taken up canning and food preservation? Not everyone has the space or green thumb enough to be self sufficient and to be able to grow their own food. I live on a typical city lot and only have a 6' x 10' space for gardening. Only enough space for some fresh produce and not enough room to grow to feed my family or be self sufficient so I rely heavily on my local farmers, mennonite farms and farmers markets to get my produce to can and preserve my food for my family. I said NOTHING about food or fertilizer shortages because I choose not to bring politics into this family oriented wholesome positive upbeat channel.

After more than two weeks of spring we are going back into winter. Though some rain will be welcome. So hard trying to best guess when the overnight frosts will stop. All the plants that do not mind such as raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants are looking very good.
