Great analysis, thank you! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Here's the issue. It's not that anyone else is bad, in fact on any other song imo all their verses would be dope as hell and even on this track they are. The issue is that Kool was allowed to have the first verse and he sets the most amazing tone and tempo to the beat that the other verses don't build off of, but choose go in completely different directions. This isn't the worse thing that's happened, and again all the verses are sick; but Kool's was just too good. Lyrics aside as well, just listen to the sound of their flow; the faster ones which normally would be more impressive don't sound as consonant as opposed to Kool's hazy ramble which fits the beat better. Of course, this also is all subjective.
I found your commentary really interesting, particularly in your consideration of flow! That aspect really made me think, and I wanted to offer an perspective based on what I gathered from that excellent flow-based approach you detailed. I would say the entire song operates as a negotiation, wherein leverage plays the central role. Kool AD offers the initial position, a slow, "hazy ramble." You mention it fits better with the beat, and I would agree--given that, one could then argue he has the superior bargaining position, which would grant him leverage in the negotiation. The counter-offer comes from Fat Tony, with his markedly faster and more aggressive take, which I agree is cool but not quite as suited to the beat as the initial, glove-snug fit flow from Kool AD. Enter Lakutis, who is the mediator, repeatedly, identically restating his own assessment of the negotiations via a crackle-rich phone's filter, which is a device of pure communication between physically distant parties (a telephone only serves if the parties are not right next each other, otherwise, why use a telephone? Note of course, "telephone" comes from the roots "tele" meaning "distant" and "phone" meaning "sound," so it's by definition a device of communication across non-negligible distance). Lakutis's strict repetition is like the middle-man ironing out the two sides' positions so they can reach an agreement on terms and then come to a compromise. That compromise is Nasty Nigel's middle-ground flow, which is definitely slower and more relaxed than Fat Tony's and faster than Kool AD's, but definitely leans closer to Kool AD's overall flow. Thus, at the end of this negotiation, while they reach a consensus on how to end the song--which flow is best for this beat--Kool AD's take earns the song's favor with the slight preference evident in Nasty Nigel's more relaxed flow. It is not Kool AD's flow exactly, but it's as close as they can get and still reconcile it with Fat Tony's. It's not a perfect, one-way, absolute resolution, it's a compromise between the two positions. While we're on the topic of negotiation in this song, to briefly treat the visual component, you can spot multiple symbols of failed or impeded communication throughout the video: a bird tagged on a pillar that can never chirp (or tweet!) because it isn't real, written language tagged on a wall that is obscured by Kool AD in the foreground (whose very head teases the language by operating as one of the missing letters), Kool AD examining a bottle on the beach that nevertheless lacks a message for him to find, a run-down video game cabinet that can never serve its singular purpose to entertain meanwhile Fat Tony is performing multiple acts of entertainment in the background (rap and dance), a phone left dangling off the hook that is useless without Lakutis animating it, painted pictures of famously communicative and intelligent whales and dolphins that are stuck lifeless as decorations that are unable to call out to their pals despite them being depicted so close to each other, and of course the beat-up "Eldorado Arcade" signage that's burnt out and unable to act as the very beacon of communication it ostensibly should be (doubly so since it's not merely a sign but an electrical sign). Interestingly not just the lettering itself is made of lights, but the text is also framed with even more lights to further highlight the enlarged language, yet none of these can function based on the apparently abandoned nature of the setting. The giant-fonted sign can still presently be read, though it grows difficult in the evening light, and without its electric lighting enabled its futility of communication will soon come to light come night time. Also, it is notable that Eldorado is quite literally a rich name to employ here: El Dorado is of course the fabled city/empire/etc. of gold, but the rusted-out sign in the video is far from bring appropriately glamorous to befit the namesake, though it could also be a play on the adage that "silence is golden," an ironic quip given that this is a rap song and rap is of course a lyric-dependent musical form, the antithesis of holding your tongue. Given that this sign of gold is in a silenced arcade that clearly no longer functions, it could be a subtle invitation to abandon communication for being pointless and thus acquire the wealth of golden silence. Much like how the song demonstrates that in a matter of merely two opposing sides, you'll still only ever get a compromised version of either side, perhaps this is a criticism of the ultimate futility of communication in general for its inability to simply convey an idea one to one, mind to mind, thus, perhaps the solution is to rebelliously embrace silence. Adding to the irony of the park's name referring to silence being golden is that this present discussion of flow examines how this anti-communication song is itself actively discussing the negotiation of different styles of communication, namely flows--or forms of audibly dispensing words (and note flow is not necessarily the words themselves, but just the pattern of issuing utterances, as you mentioned in your post). But ultimately, the video ends by revisiting that opening image of a picture of a bird (which itself is an echo of the video's opening title image of a lone, actual bird) to remind us of the artificiality of what just transpired in the video. Any painting of a bird is only ever an artistic representation of the actual conception of a bird, of course, so similarly consider "Leverage," which is a musical recording. We're not actually hearing these guys' words in this collection of audio data. Their speech is artificially constructed (they wrote it, they recorded, they produced it, they released it) for the purpose of creating this aesthetic experience--they aren't just talking to us and we're just overhearing to them have an argument on how best to communicate over a beat. But we are getting a representation of that discussion via this track and even then, we only reach that discussion indirectly via interpretation of that artistic expression (or "song"), much like a painting of a bird can never actually replicate the exact, precise bird no matter how excellently crafted it is, but you can still get the rough idea across of a given bird. See the footage of the flock of seagulls flying around a little over halfway through the video, which serves to showcase what "real life" birds--or communication--are and what they are capable of at their greatest height, literally soaring high above the bounds of gravity--but that which artistic depictions will never actually replicate. So this song, itself a discussion of communication, can never actually achieve perfect communication: it'll always sound the same when you press play (no matter how much one appreciates this song, it'll never respond), and your experience of it can only ever be what you make of it, but it can never be exactly what they intended to communicate to anyone since, as the video/song makes evident, communication via recording (or any artistic or otherwise constructed expression) just can't do justice to actuality. Communication is a series of negotiations that merely end in compromise that leave neither speaker nor receiver completely satisfied with the exchange, much like the competing flows of this song never quite synchronize, so much as co-inhabit the world of this song. This can easily extend to commentary of life itself, where people living together on this planet can only attempt to drive towards a semblance of a greater, wider understanding among disparate minds, but we can't actually achieve true mental synchronicity, only an agreement to co-exist despite each of our differences. However, regardless of what is at stake in any given state of difference between parties that should emerge in the course of living, in order for things to tend towards breaking in your favor, all you need is leverage.

Certainly. A lot of whack shit will blow up but there will always be great rappers keeping the true spirit of hip-hop alive.
Yeah modern top rappers are following a trend but this was refreshing

And I just might add you if you equipped
With some good sense, and some good teeth
And feeling free like a loose leaf, single sheet
On the beat I’m crisp like a Pringle be
I’m on 34th Street like Kris Kringle be

That seemingly might be easy but you’re quite beneath me
You’re stinky like a queef be
From a bitch that hasn’t washed for weeks
Hoes known to jock you geeks
Cause they think you so unique
But solely you’re phony and only phoning in when you speak
I’m going in on your freak, weekly and reeking of weed
Sweetly I’m sealing the deed, revealing just what she need
Like honey to bees or chickens to feed
Or money to me or A/C to a hundred degrees
I smoke nothing but trees, you are nothing to me
And while you’re living in dreams I’m reeling in reality
