- Hi friend! Let's go do a little rainy day thrifting and antiquing!
My plan was to check out a few thrift stores but one of my favorite little antique shops was open and I couldn't resist stopping in! I'm so happy that I did! Wait until you see what I found!
I also checked out a few thrift stores too!
After antiquing and thrifting, I'll show you all the treasures I found and we'll even do a little decorating with my Pfaltzgraff Heritage collection pieces!

I am the same with magazines. I don’t want to see anything in them until I really have time to sit down and enjoy the whole magazine alone. I used to love in the 80s getting southern living or good housekeeping in the mail .
Those beautiful handles on the brown transfer ware are stunning! I wanted the whole tub of the cups and saucers for .50 each! Cha Ching! Good for you on those great finds!!!!

I have my Mom's and Grandma's well loved Currier and Ives blue sets. I remember as a little girl having dinners with those plates. I still use them today with my family. Plus have to display them as well. :)

They Courier and Ives were the first dishes that my husband and I had after we got married 59 years ago. I still love them and I had all the pieces.. I gave them to my daughter when she bought a camp with a tiny house on it and it really complements her place.. I love all the white dishes too, I have some brown transfer ware also, sounds like great minds run together 🌹 enjoy

Loved all you got. I got married in the 70s and got some pieces of the Pfaltzgraft for gifts. My mom had gotten me a platter wich I loved and still had until last year when it btoke. I keep looking for another one. I still have my coffee pot, creamer and sugar bowl. So nice you have the full set of the cansters.

I love to thrift & antique.. and collect! Ohhh my..i need to make a trip! I loved everything in that antique store!! I collect the Currier & Ives prints, coffee table books and have 2 of the season plates, looking for the other 2. I have one of the winter scenes with the red barn already framed. I had it out thru the winter season. Love the patriotic one! I have the coffee table book with the old farm house pictures, i plan to frame some of them. Love all your art finds😊 I'm getting overstimulated just watching the video.. I'd would be there from open to close just looking at art😄 I love all the copper too! Oh, my! I watched my first video of yours yesterday, perhaps this one. I’m binge watching, now. You had found a basket of the blue and white Currier & Ives for .50 each, and were so excited. I went to Goodwill that very evening, and found several small plates in C & I’s, the same ones!!! I put six in my cart, then realized I was just sharing your excitement, and since I don’t collect them, I put them back. I have SO many dishes! I mentioned you in my latest video. It’s hard finding brown transfer ware here also. I can find sometimes at a couple of places here at our antique shops . I’ve got to go look at this one place though that’s not far maybe about 25 minutes . They have a lot of booths and I’ve only been there once.
The brown sugar & creamer would have been enough for me too! ❤❤❤ my mom had all the currier & Ives blue & white. We grew up eating on them. So beautiful.

Great find on the Winter in the Country Currier & Ives calendar print! I saw one on eBay for $24+! I have never seen a box of prints. I would have come away with a bunch!

Just watched your video. It’s always nice to see others who like the same things I do. I, too, collect Norman Rockwell prints and frame, have thrifted several pcs. Of Plaftzgraff and have the tureen. I save old Christmas mags and put out at Christmas for reading. .etc etc etc. Am seriously tempted to replace my colorful kitchen with my white stuff; but what will I do with other. Thank goodness for plastic bins and large walk-in attics. I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I recently became the owner of a 130 year old kitchen table made by my grandfather. Will clean up, keeping the integrity and put in my kitchen. I’m excited.

I have a collection of currier and Ives Christmas houses. I haven’t set them up in years. This year I’m going to set them up in my Armoire. Last Christmas was to hectic. ❤ Ty for taking us on a fun trip.

WOW! How fun! I just purchased a royal staffordshire plate that would match your sugar bowl and pitcher for one dollar at The Secret Cubby Antique Store in Findley Lake, NY. Lucky you to find those. We are in Erie, Pa and I think I may be trekking up to the Back Barn sometime in the future. I have family in the Eden/Hamburg area, so I am somewhat familiar. Maybe I will catch you there! Nice haul. I have my grandmother's blue transferware set. I have the same picture ($3.99) that was a good find. You may remember the Home Interior parties. That is where I got mine from. But cannot remember if was it a cash purchase or if I used my hostess merit to get it. Thanks for sharing.
