There is an antenna connection on the backside of that panel that you could hide that cable behind the wall if you'd like to. The connection that he used is the secondary TV connection for a second TV. You could also use a pass thru splitter on TV connection behind that panel to hide both cables behind the wall if you like.

I will have to look into that - would be a much cleaner look for sure. Thanks for the tip!!!

@Airstream Nerds on the backside of my panel there are three coaxial cable connections, one is antenna in, one is cable in, one is tv out, you can put a power pass thru splitter on this one if you like to supply 2 or more tv's on just use the front tv connector to supply a second tv. The roof antenna is powered thru the coaxial cable is why a power pass thru splitter should be used. Hope this helps. The markings for the cables on backside of panel is in very small print.

@@dennisjenkins7040 Thanks again - I actually do this kind of work full time (AV Engineer) so I completely understand what you are talking about. I just did not look much into options after the install. Gives me something else add to my list LOL

Did you get more channels or less with with this antenna? Is it supposed to pull in from greater distance? There are many reviews of this antenna where you get an E3 error code indicating a failure in the motor. Hope yours stands the test of time. I still have the crank up but I did put a new head on it recently.

I have had this installed for a couple years now and have not had any issues yet - although I have not used it much. I definitely get more channels than stock but I am in the Washington DC area and there are tons of channels. Thanks for watching!

Great. So many of the reviews of this on Amazon and at Winegard are negative. Did you have to run a new cable down through the fridge vent? Could you use the exiting cable from the other antenna?

I did not see any RG6 ran out of the fridge vent so I am assuming that Lew Farber used existing. I read the same reviews as you did but decided that there were enough good ones to take a chance. So far I have been happy but you know how electronics are...could be any day now that I am unhappy LOL

How is it holding up. Seen some bad reviews on durability.

RZR 495 last year I did not use it at all and have not camped at all in 2020. But so far I have not had issues. Thanks for the question
