I am in a similar situation and have had to cancel pretty much everything that I normally have to pay for each month. The only reason I am not homeless right now is because my parents have a spare room in their house and they are kind enough to let me stay there until I can get well enough to go back to work. (I jave been diagnosed with a chronic pain condition along with a couple of other chronic conditions that have required me to have 3 surgeries so far). Anyway, I just wanted you to know that you are not alone and although everything really sucks right now, it is temporary. You will get through this. You will get another job. And you will get back on your feet again. I know that it is really difficult to see an end to these difficult times, but I promise, they are there and it will get better. If there was any way at all that I could help you, I believe that I would. I wish I was in a better position right now so that I could help someone else, but unfortunately I am not. Not at the moment anyway. I take it from your comment that you won't have access to the internet for a while. Don't forget that there is usually free WiFi in places like McDonald's. I don't know where you live, but I would recommend trying to search up what help is available in your area for people in your circumstances, even if you think there is nothing, it is worth a look. There is help out there. There are places that will give you a box or 2 of free groceries. But my point with the free WiFi was to tell you that if you need someone to talk to, someone who understands being in a similar situation, I am here and I am happy to talk.
