    With 1,78m i am between M and L. I would like to run it in the mullet Setup. Would you go for L in This case? Because the reach With 440mm on the M seems quite short.

    For someone 5.10 or 178 cms tall, do you recomend M or L ? also, any experience with a 29 wheel up front keeping 160mm of travel? amazing bike !

    • @pivotcyclesusa
      @pivotcyclesusa  3 года назад +2

      According to our sizing chart, at 5'10", you are between M and L. If you like a longer reach bike for more DH stability, you could go with the Large. If you prefer a more nimble setup, the Medium would be the choice. If you would like to trouble shoot the fit further, we suggest going to our website and chatting with our knowledgeable customer service team.
      Regarding mullet setups, the Mach 6 can be run with a 29er fork/wheel, however, it just not a stock option at this time. The flip clip allows you to lower the BB to preserve the handling. There are a few mullet fans in the office and have enjoyed riding the Mach 6 in that configuration.

      Hello,
      The bottle cage is an Elite Cannibal XC:

      The CO2 holder is our own Phoenix Dock Ninja CO2, which you can buy on our online store or at your local Pivot dealer:

    @PivotCycles you recommend a large for riders up to 1.88meters.
    As it’s so similar to the 27.5 Firebird, taller riders should be fine too?
    The size recommendations are a bit confusing. I’m 1.91m and riding the old firebird 27.5 at the moment.

    • @xandercl1819
      @xandercl1819 3 года назад

      Since you are pretty tall I would for sure go with a large. You could even ride an xl if you wanted to.

    • @bentkl2855
      @bentkl2855 3 года назад

      @@xandercl1819 sure a XL could work. But online there is no XL size listed. Thats the most confusing part about it.

    • @pivotcyclesusa
      @pivotcyclesusa  3 года назад

      We would put you on a Large Mach 6. We don't offer an XL (at this time), but for those riders 6'2" and taller looking for a bigger bike, we would recommend you look at the XL Firebird 29.

      @@eatnpooter1634 we are limited on the number of variations of geo chart that we can list online. So the geo you see is based on the standard model with the Fox 34 130mm fork with the Low and Lower geo options.

      @@jesseespinosa9739 No doubt! The Switchblade is both efficient and fun as a package. But when you are comparing it to the Mach 6, the Switchblade is definitely more of an all-rounder whereas the Mach 6 sacrifices some things like roll-over efficiency (27.5in vs 29in) and geometry differences to keep it nimble and stable when getting rowdy at the park or your local jump line.
