Yeah, I know, there were some editing errors, no idea how that happened, lol ' About the sponsor, just wanted to reiterate that normally I never promote any AI service but after playing around with it I found it's a good initial research tool, no different from a Google search, as it provides links to relevant websites and videos and also gives an "AI summary" of the most pertinent details. @mirjanbouma That's a fair point, and the whole resource demanding thing is a pretty new one I've only started hearing as a reason people don't like AI.
I don't think that's really a problem, buddy. If it's an sponsor that makes sense and it's intertwined with your content and your viewer's requests, yeah no reason for you to deny it. I personally don't mind, as people forger that RUclips isn't reliable enough to pay all the bills-
Poor Blue Moon, it's so underused it even gets forgotten in an underused weapons run... Edit: hey, uhh, can you guys at least check if someone already left the exact reply you're gonna post before posting?
@mlgmarsblazikenmemslol blue moon got almost nothing to be memorable unfortunately, also you get shadow key from the same chests that you obtain blue moon which allow you to get sunfury, ngl we need some eclipse mace that requires blue moon + sunfury
I used it on my first journey mode playthrough (aka my first time getting to dungeon because for some reason I like in game built cheats like creative mode for Minecraft to play before going into normal modes)
These unused weapons gave me an idea for a collaboration. Biome Battles. Each player/faction can only use weapons and accessories found in their biome or crafted with materials from the biome. They have a pre hardmode fight and a hardmode fight.
I can see a few holes with this: Terraria's equipment progression is based on (re)exploring biomes in a particular order. Certain biomes will be have an unfair advantage simply because they have bigger numbers. Imagine standing there with your boreal wood and ice sword and someone is bearing down on you in full molten. What would happen with generic items such as hermes boots and ores? Technically they're available to multiple different biomes, so if they're allowed, half the biomes would just end up using the exact same full plat/adamant loadout, while everything not in the underground layer gets completely outmanuvered. The same also applies to fishing and crates. Some items like the phoenix blaster need materials from multiple biomes. Would that just be unobtainable? Similarly what would happen with NPCs and items such as illegal gun parts?
@electrospag@electrospaghetti8388xactly acquire molten gear without fighting in crimson and at the dungeon Weapon options include the demon scythe and waiting until skeletron is defeated to get a yoyo and armor includes uh Well lets hope there’s some ashwood I’m being much more technical about the player starting with nothing and only having items directly from their biome and not being able to go to other biomes to acquire things Maybe underworlders can get some ores or something though and if they can defeat wall of flesh their progression and items do increase alot more And with that being said, snow biome is stronger than you think Do you really think a boreal sword and an ice sword are the best ice/snow biome players have? If counting the whole entire biome and not the layers as different biomes, they can get plat armor, plat bows, and one of the strongest items in the snow biome pre hardmode the snowball cannon If we allow players to get access to other biomes only for the ability to acquire items exclusive to their biome such as nightmare pickaxes for molten gear then yeah maybe it would be 1 sided but still the items you listed aren’t all snow biome players would have Dungeon counting as a single biome would also be really funny imo
Yeah, wanted to make sure it was mentioned. Generally it does a good job but will get some things wrong. Generally the more specific the question the more likely you are to get wrong information.
I feel like especially back in 1.3 they were incredibly useful since there were in general less melee weapons with decent ranged projectiles. And yo-yo play style was just floating around vaguely next to the boss and holding left click
Something even more irritating about yoyos is that on consoles/controller you're limited to the small range of the cursor UNLESS you auto-aim, that way you won't be capped and can use the full range they have, it's so stupid, same thing happens to the zenith, can't hit the diagonal edges. Glad to have switched to PC myself lol
@zerogamer0957 - Honestly, there's been more than once when I decided that the explosions from the volcano are more helpful than even the night's edge swinging, and just hang on to a spare volcano going into hard mode a bit. But I haven't really used the grass blade much since it's rework. I'll have to give it a try next time. :)
I'd argue that both the Sunfury and Dark Lance are commonly used as they are the best weapons of their tier and almost as strong as the Nights Edge, also I used them in my last two melee playthroughs
Gonna come in here to rep the Flower Pow, 'cause it is *really* cool but also one of THE most unusually complicated melee weapons to use at its full potential. It actually fires petals EXTREMELY rapidly when you hold the button after throwing it and let it free-drop, but the passive petal damage from this also doesn't exceed using it normally, so the best way to use it is to throw it, and then free-drop it after it makes contact with your target and let it fire for a second before pulling it back. It's a surprisingly intense rhythm you have to get into on top of aiming the dang thing and timing on where and when you release/retract it means everything. I got a lot of experience using it in a world with frozen time (which I never finished to post to youtube...) because I only had one Plantera and that was the item I got so I sort of forced myself to try it out and figure its quirks out 'cause I wanted to make it count. Honestly really came to appreciate it. It's a fun weapon. You can do that trick with dropped flails for anything to get some extra hits in if gravity aligns with you but it's just really important for the Flower Pow because of its petals. Honestly I kinda wish there were more "high skill expression" weapons like that in Terraria. Flails are cool.
The ice biome weapons graph is completely broken 💔 It shows them a few minutes earlier than needed and doesn't show them when supposed to at all P.s. Possessed hatchet graph is broken too😭
It is a shredder, even though its range is REALLY bad. Either way, it's unrealistic to try for the weapon in one world if you aren't on the special seed.
Early on in my Terraria playtime I actually used most of the boomerangs and the Muramasa as one of the first accessible swords with an autoswing at the time AND an almost usable light source had young me straining the hell out of my eyes exploring caves and yet feeling almost invincible. These days I tend to pass on it, but that's mostly because I am heavily addicted to being a summoner because I hate ammo/mana management, but love not being melee, now my staple is being a full summoner that even though whips exist I instead rock bee weapons, mostly the grenades. The less I have to use my terrible aim while staying away from bosses as much as possible the better, and with the Hive Pack for the beenades you can make it to hard mode pretty comfortably since you really only have to use the nades for bosses
@AmphibianSam i know! I always gun for the dao of pow and ice sickle as soon as i take down the wall when i do a melee run, they're such good weapons for when you can obtain them
Tentacle spike is actually really good weapon for the stage of game that it's accesible in , many people just find that dumping their luck in the blackhole doesn't work all the time
You're in a corruption world in this video, but strangely I think the Bladetongue is one of the most underused ones. I find it odd because, not only is it pretty good, but the Crystal serpent found with hallowed fishing is significantly more common to see, and even the Toxicarp I see more often.
Ive done a hardcore playthrough using just Boomerangs and Maces up to hardmode and it was definitely a challenge. Sunfury, Flamarang, and Trimarang can beat the wall, but it isnt easy.
That was the main issue of 1.3 Terrablade. You'd have to go through all of this tree crafting to get an item that gets immediately overtaken by an uncommon drop from an event.
Perhaps it is because I mostly played terraria before Night's Edge became a useable weapon, but I have always found dark lance and flamarang useful as late pre-hardmode weapons. I remember when ice sickle was one of the go-to weapons I used for the first mech boss so I could get a death sickle from eclipse for the other two. It is worse now but still okay - mostly unused because of its rarity (A lot like Uzi). Dao of Pow as well as most other flails (Except blue moon) were only underused before the flail update made them all much more viable. Blood moon weapons are only underused because people have an aversion to fishing. Seedler is a great sword, as you mention. Only underused because it is a rare drop from plantera and outshined by the new terra blade.
underused weapons is great! I've done 2 playthroughs centered around it (one where i used weapons I had never used before and one where i collected every weapons so i migh as well use the remaining new picks) and it lets you form a lot of opinions about various random weapons everyone overlooks. I can say many things about toxicarp, ice rod, and beekeepeer haha
7:49 I like the beam sword after it kinda saved me in my first playthrough when I was getting back into the game, a legendary one dropping helped me get through early hardmode!
This is my first time hearing that the phasesaber is bad, or that there's a big update happening soon, buffing my precious laser swords from outer space in particular. Interesting.
Phaseblades were kinda bad, phasesabers are better. The latter is the hardmode version. The former is just outclassed by a lot of other options and has almost no knockback.
I acutally unironically used the phase blade to great effect in a recent playthrough. I was lucky enough to find meteor bars in a caverns chest very early, and threw together a phaseblade which made dealing with underground BS way easier, including farming for the materials for blade of grass. Needless to say, I replaced the phaseblade with said blade of grass soon after, but if you luck into meteorite bars early on it's a genuinely competitive option when compared to other weapons you get from chests.
the ice biome weapons were put in the wrong spots like in 26:06, idk if this was the editing software trolling you or a slight mistake while puting the graphs, at least the video overall is really cool tho lol edit: they were supossed to appear here 27:49 but there's nothing xD
Honestly the fact that he had to throw out a big disclaimer in his pinned comment doesn't really help. if it's not a big deal why would he do that. Plus the fact that the ai assistant is just wrong in the ad says all you really need to know. Your saving like. A couple mins of reading to maybe or probably get a wrong answer. Why would I pay for that?
In just about every run of this game I farm the Old One's Army just cause I like to use the sentries regardless of my class. I gotta say, you're trying to beat them in the wrong way and that's why its such a struggle for you. If you're going to be using the Ballista Staff, set them up behind the portals the enemies spawn from. It has a ton of piercing and will then hit most of the enemies right after they spawn and give you a much easier time. The Flameburst Staff is great for putting on the path they walk, doing residual knockback and AOE helps a ton in slowing the enemies down enough for you to take them out. And its quite underrated but the Lightning Aura Staff can be used in the same way as the Flameburst one, just having a slightly different niche where(in my experience) it does a better job hitting flying enemies, set it up in near the portal/crystal or on a higher platform to take them out without the chance of missing due to the extra movement
Funn6 thing about the bat bat, I got it like minute 2 or 3 of entering my first world, when I was surveying the map's layout to see if I'd keep it for a run with a brand new character, and i've been using it as my main weapon since, it's heckin slow, yes, but it hits hard for an early weapon, and so getting it right away was awesome
It's really funny watching this when I played the game before hardmode was a thing. "Not a single person uses this weapon except to upgrade it!" "That used to be my best in slot..."
Yo-yos are some of the weapons I always have in my hotbar through out the game. Them being able to go through 1 block I find really useful at the start
Swordfish had its glory days back when the Reaver Shark was still OP and people were rushing the Ocean fishing to skip the first half or so of pre-Hardmode. As you saw, it's a great weapon for early game.
When I first played Terraria it was on a mobile version when 1.3 came out. I knew nothing about that game, didn't look up any guides, nothing. I mostly used "unused" weapons back then just because they were there. I especially loved chakram weapons for some reason
bananarang is one of me favorite weapon's, as i play alote of console terraria on playstation 3. As Ocram is still around as we never got moonlord update on playstation 3.
Throabin, about the eater of worlds fight, just reforge your accessories to Warding and you can basically facetank his body damage with any weapon, you will be taking -6 -6 -5 -6 -6 from his body. You can easily use this to kill him underground even with a Shortsword. (if needed Bast Statue + Campfire + Heart lantern help too)
I recently did a melee playthrough where I used both the Bananarangs and the Light Disks and I gotta say, they're pretty good tbh lol. If you can increase your throwing speed they do a LOT of damage
Idea: Pyro challenge. Your only allowed to use fiery weapons and cursed flame-based weapons. So your starting weapon that you would be allowed to use would be a wooden bow with Fire Arrows
I actually recently did a basic playthrough as a "Builder". And went out of my way to use tools instead of weapons for pre-mode. LOL. The ruler was a fun one to bonk slimes on the head with, and for a while I even used the umbrella, but as soon as I got a balloon and horseshoe, I kind of gave up on that. Started gearing kind of towards summoner, because minions make it easier to build in peace. lol Tried to use hammers every time I got the next tech, unless there was only an axe left. But I forgot about 'smart' cursor SO many times, and ended up just busting up my back walls too often. Right about meteor hamaxe, I gave up, and just switched to whips.
I have uploaded a world to the Steam Workshop called Castle Axlvania - it gives you an expansive main base and storage for basically everything in the game, but it's at the very beginning of a large Master world, meaning no bosses beaten or any sort of completion. Could be useful for a Master difficulty playthrough, and would be cool to see it showcased 👍🏻
Never realized the tentacle blade and antlion blade were so rare, the last few runs I got them incredibly early and actively used them. I mean, not long as they get replaced quick, but still.
I used the muramasa a TON in my playthrough with friends before getting the nights edge, although I may be an outlier since we did get a dungeon spawn that had it close enough to the entrance the guardian wasn't a problem (we were on a drunk seed) I also used the sunfury a lot, was my weapon of choice against the eater of worlds
I used a tentacle spike during my first playthrough, it's best suited as an additional DoT item, similar to how the golden shower is better as a debuff applicant rather than a proper damage-dealing weapon.
I thought that Trimarang, Bananarang, and Light Disc would be pretty commnonly used. At least, I use them when I play melee. The Bananarang and Light Disc are especially goated.
Believe it or not, I used many of the weapons you did used in my Ps3 playthrough of Terraria. At least... weapons that were added way back in the 1.2 updates.
Dude the wodden yoyo is a must have along with the wooden sword right off the bat in a new world for me. Reaching around corners and 2 block holes to hit enemies while mining? The wooden yoyo carries your ass.
My friend i play with now and then loves using yoyos. And i love the breathing rod haha also i always keep a sickle in my inventory. I make temporary bases out of hay
I remember when you had to craft 5 light discs and stack them to be able to throw 5 at once. I kinda wish it was still that way with how easy they are to craft, it would also incentivize people to try harder from the bananarang.
If you're doing a Yo-Yo only playthrough there's enough consistent ones to get that other Yo-Yo's rarely ever get used since another one with better stats will pop up quicker. Think those ones sold by the Skeleton Merchant.
Yeah, I know, there were some editing errors, no idea how that happened, lol
'
About the sponsor, just wanted to reiterate that normally I never promote any AI service but after playing around with it I found it's a good initial research tool, no different from a Google search, as it provides links to relevant websites and videos and also gives an "AI summary" of the most pertinent details. Yeah, not a fan of AI stuff. Handy or not, they're too resource demanding - not to mention the ways they "learn".
@mirjanboumasame
@m@mirjanbouma they learn like anyone else. By reading everything they see. But yes they are way too expensive for what they can do
@mirjanbouma That's a fair point, and the whole resource demanding thing is a pretty new one I've only started hearing as a reason people don't like AI.
I don't think that's really a problem, buddy. If it's an sponsor that makes sense and it's intertwined with your content and your viewer's requests, yeah no reason for you to deny it. I personally don't mind, as people forger that RUclips isn't reliable enough to pay all the bills-

Edit: hey, uhh, can you guys at least check if someone already left the exact reply you're gonna post before posting?
I genuinely use the blue moon.
People who don't use blue moon in modern terraria? Atleast it's useable compare to old terraria.
@mlgmarsblazikenmemslol yeah, but sunfury is at almost the exact same tier.
The rarest item in the game continues to be whatever Throarbin is looking for
These unused weapons gave me an idea for a collaboration.
Biome Battles.
Each player/faction can only use weapons and accessories found in their biome or crafted with materials from the biome. They have a pre hardmode fight and a hardmode fight.
Granite Biome players: 💀
I can see a few holes with this:
Terraria's equipment progression is based on (re)exploring biomes in a particular order. Certain biomes will be have an unfair advantage simply because they have bigger numbers. Imagine standing there with your boreal wood and ice sword and someone is bearing down on you in full molten.

Some items like the phoenix blaster need materials from multiple biomes. Would that just be unobtainable? Similarly what would happen with NPCs and items such as illegal gun parts?
@electrospag@electrospaghetti8388xactly acquire molten gear without fighting in crimson and at the dungeon
Weapon options include the demon scythe and waiting until skeletron is defeated to get a yoyo and armor includes uh
Well lets hope there’s some ashwood
I’m being much more technical about the player starting with nothing and only having items directly from their biome and not being able to go to other biomes to acquire things
Maybe underworlders can get some ores or something though and if they can defeat wall of flesh their progression and items do increase alot more
And with that being said, snow biome is stronger than you think
Do you really think a boreal sword and an ice sword are the best ice/snow biome players have? If counting the whole entire biome and not the layers as different biomes, they can get plat armor, plat bows, and one of the strongest items in the snow biome pre hardmode the snowball cannon
If we allow players to get access to other biomes only for the ability to acquire items exclusive to their biome such as nightmare pickaxes for molten gear then yeah maybe it would be 1 sided but still the items you listed aren’t all snow biome players would have
Dungeon counting as a single biome would also be really funny imo
I might have to make a video out of that
Spoiler: jungle player wins hardmode one and maybe pre hardmode too
The chatbot in the sponsor segment casually presenting incorrect information you could've just gone to the wiki for is hilarious.
At least when GameFAQs gets stuff wrong it's good ol' fashioned misinformation
Yeah, wanted to make sure it was mentioned. Generally it does a good job but will get some things wrong. Generally the more specific the question the more likely you are to get wrong information.
@Throarbin I appreciate the transparency.
I think yoyos are literally the most used subclass to do a run with lmao
Yeah ive probably done as many yoyo-only runs as i have with my main class (summoner) lol i dont like regular melee that much but love playing yoyos
I feel like especially back in 1.3 they were incredibly useful since there were in general less melee weapons with decent ranged projectiles. And yo-yo play style was just floating around vaguely next to the boss and holding left click
Gun.
@saltylemonton5537 Guns aren't melee though.
@no-one-787yeah I know. I would argue guns are the most used subclass and the subclass that has the most runs over all.
0:28 As someone who did a yoyo only master mode run, the yoyos are under-utilized because they blow ass
Damn I was thinking of doing the same but maybe I’ll just do spears / flails and other underused weapons
@_Fernit's p doable, just painful. Wall of flesh is by far the most difficult part
@palmtree476yep you need one of the those really cheesy tunnels from my experience.
Editing error with showing most hardmode weapons early.
Yeah, it's kinda funny, though, seeing the empty weapon slots later when they're actually supposed to show up
i'm confused as to how it's possible for that to happen, but i dont edit videos much, so i can't judge XD
@redstar006 probably set it up and when cutting it doesnt shift properly
editing error at 26:06 btw
Also possessed hatchet
27:48 Ah yes, the 3 ____ Weapons
I like the left one better than the middle one
Number 1 is my favorite
Why are you calling me a nobody? I love the muramasa by itself. The fiery great sword is the last weapon in the line up for the nights edge.
@Gezeid It's pretty hard to mine the hard mode ores without it.
i too still call it the fiery greatsword
A lot of players get hellstone before beating skeletron since the eater/brain are easier
Yeah but nobody use that fire sword even if they get it before the Dungeon.... the Grassblade is so much better.
@zerogamer0957 - Honestly, there's been more than once when I decided that the explosions from the volcano are more helpful than even the night's edge swinging, and just hang on to a spare volcano going into hard mode a bit. I would suggest next time making your community vote on which ones are in the "no one uses" category.
1:10 Excuse me??? Creaming the slimes?!?! THROARBIN!!!!
What’s wrong with that?
I cream my slime all the time
The ice biome weapons graph is completely broken 💔
It shows them a few minutes earlier than needed and doesn't show them when supposed to at all
P.s. Possessed hatchet graph is broken too😭
it made me laugh when he was just fighting the wall of flesh and the ice mimic weapons fly on screen 😭
no terragrim mention in the underused melee weapon video is craaazy... (i understand its rarity but still it's so unique 💔)
How is anyone supposed to get that
@ToprakHacıkasımoğlucelebration mk10 seed during a blood moon from the princess npc
It is a shredder, even though its range is REALLY bad. Either way, it's unrealistic to try for the weapon in one world if you aren't on the special seed.
I feel like it is not underutilised because if anyone actually gets one they will want to use it no matter how bad it is
Yeah everyone who gets it uses it its just so rare. Also like its not that unique arkhalis does the same exact thing but blue
I use half these weapons unironically
with 1.4.5 the mandible blade suddenly becomes one of the better pre boss weapons lol
37:40 Possessed Hatchet jumpscare
it's there to scare you, bwahaha
36:00 most underrated item: health potion NAME ONE TIME ANYONE USES THEM IN BOSSFIGHTS LIKE COME ON HAVE A SLOT OPEN FOR IT!!!
Not me watching this with my Tentacle Spike
mandible blade has always been my go-to... 1.4.5 made it a beast

7:56 Ahh yes, the beam sword is my favourite Pre Hardmode weapon in the game
yeah, misspoke there, lol
@Throarbin nahh I'm just joking, good video tho, I might try the Dao of Pao now
Dao of pow (or Bananarang) is my go to early Hardmode weapon I didn’t know that people didn’t use it
@AmphibianSam i know! I always gun for the dao of pow and ice sickle as soon as i take down the wall when i do a melee run, they're such good weapons for when you can obtain them
Tentacle spike is actually really good weapon for the stage of game that it's accesible in , many people just find that dumping their luck in the blackhole doesn't work all the time
Never before would I think Throarbin would have a sponsorship from an Ai company
i bet they gave him a bank or some shit idk how you’d explain this haha
Yeah it’s kinda gross ngl
Kinda wish he did research on generative Ai before accepting the offer but I get it, I bet they gave him absurd money to sing their praises
You're in a corruption world in this video, but strangely I think the Bladetongue is one of the most underused ones.
I find it odd because, not only is it pretty good, but the Crystal serpent found with hallowed fishing is significantly more common to see, and even the Toxicarp I see more often.
Melee is one of the most used my beginners and one of my favourite classes, i am excited to see what will be in the video
Dude really just changed the thumbnail right if front of my face lol
it's running a test between three, lol
I don't know who would argue the Beam Sword is underused, nobody farms for it but it usually drops in early Hardmode anyway and carries.
24:29 not the amarok XD
43:55 You do realize the drop chances are low until you reach higher waves /not-mad
I remember Sorbet Cafe did a video like this 😅 his “obscure weapons” video is pretty neat
I like to use them for fun.
14:33 SPITTY BOOOOOOOYY
26:06 why are those there when ur talking about shark tooth necklace
i thought dark lance was popular against the wall
21:45 gave me flashbacks to a certain Invincible meme
I did a full YoYo only run back when they were forced introduced. It was a ton of fun. And super viable.
Ive done a hardcore playthrough using just Boomerangs and Maces up to hardmode and it was definitely a challenge. Sunfury, Flamarang, and Trimarang can beat the wall, but it isnt easy.
before the terrablade buff the influx waver felt like it was practically a straight upgrade if you had the patience to get one

I love doing this in games! It really gives you an appreciation for the game when you attempt to use tools that nobody usually gives you
Honestly, I would like to see another video like this. It’s fun seeing the weapons that I didn’t get to or never even knew about.
underused weapons is great!
7:15 the tentacle spike is a 0.2% drop rate? I always get like 20 of them, i always assumed it was like 5%
To be fair, i do use the umbrella a lot till i get horseshoes
'Nobody uses shortswords'
That one guy who killed eater with only a copper short-sword before moonlord was added:
13:01
there's no way...
12:30 there's probably a floating island immediately under the others you found.
Uhm, acktually when I did my first playthrough I RAN STARFURY UNTIL IT STOPPED DOING DAMAGE IN HARDMODE, IT WAS THAT GOOD HOLY CRAP
7:49 I like the beam sword after it kinda saved me in my first playthrough when I was getting back into the game, a legendary one dropping helped me get through early hardmode!
The Amazon yoyo, counter weight, and string seems like it could have been a good early option. Especially for eater.
For the EoW is kinda trash but for Skeletron is my go to weapon of choice when i'm playing meele
MARK WE CAN BE BEES
THIS IS GOOD NEWS
Chlorophyte Partisan in the thumbnail is wild to me. That thing used to be considered top-notch back in my day! (shakes cane angrily)
i have always been flamarang's number one fan im so glad its getting some love
people don't use the yo-yo's? damn that makes me sad, it's probably my favorite class of melee weapons
How is the trimerang underutilized?
Items no one uses is so peak, so many weapons ppl gotta check out fr fr
Yeah, can you belive no one uses sanguine staff?
@kaiotrem358 lmfao bro its been years give me a break
goatlmao spotted
Needless to say, I replaced the phaseblade with said blade of grass soon after, but if you luck into meteorite bars early on it's a genuinely competitive option when compared to other weapons you get from chests.
the ice biome weapons were put in the wrong spots like in 26:06, idk if this was the editing software trolling you or a slight mistake while puting the graphs, at least the video overall is really cool tho lol
edit: they were supossed to appear here 27:49 but there's nothing xD
and the possessed hatchet 😭
And the amarok
‘i’m normally opposed to AI and would NEVER promote it, except this time when the bag was too big.’
Amarok more lost then Zoro 😭 24:21
Love the vid man! Keep em up!
I Remember Using The Flamarang To First Try Legendary GFB Skeletron At Like 3 In The Morning, Big Fan Of The Boomerang After That Playthrough
It's really funny watching this when I played the game before hardmode was a thing.
"Not a single person uses this weapon except to upgrade it!"
"That used to be my best in slot..."
There was some kind of editing fuckery with some of the weapon graphics.
Yeah I few people pointed that out and I have no idea how it happened.
What’s cool is the video said “we did it” and and ad popped up for the top heroes kingdom saga thing and started with “your heroes will die A LOT”
When I first played Terraria it was on a mobile version when 1.3 came out. I knew nothing about that game, didn't look up any guides, nothing. I mostly used "unused" weapons back then just because they were there. I especially loved chakram weapons for some reason
The Sunfury absolutely melts the hungry in the wall of flesh fight and it was in your hotbar the entire fight
The Bananarang is underrated
bananarang is one of me favorite weapon's, as i play alote of console terraria on playstation 3.
34:17 Light Disk with a Magma Stone, Frost Armor and a Flask (maybe cursed flames or venom) its just good
Since bees do so little damage per hit, the Sharktooth/Stinger Necklace is absolutely critical.
Started gearing kind of towards summoner, because minions make it easier to build in peace. lol
Tried to use hammers every time I got the next tech, unless there was only an axe left. But I forgot about 'smart' cursor SO many times, and ended up just busting up my back walls too often. Right about meteor hamaxe, I gave up, and just switched to whips.
I go out of my way to make the trimarang. I feel attacked.
Im hearing a lot of shade being thrown at the muramasa when that was my boy PBats best weapon for a long ass time in that og playthrough of terraria
Editing takes time but this IS SOMETHING ELSE 40 minutes
I used the muramasa a TON in my playthrough with friends before getting the nights edge, although I may be an outlier since we did get a dungeon spawn that had it close enough to the entrance the guardian wasn't a problem (we were on a drunk seed)
I also used the sunfury a lot, was my weapon of choice against the eater of worlds
I used a tentacle spike during my first playthrough, it's best suited as an additional DoT item, similar to how the golden shower is better as a debuff applicant rather than a proper damage-dealing weapon.
Terraria just wouldn't be the same without so much underused weapons.
I thought that Trimarang, Bananarang, and Light Disc would be pretty commnonly used. At least, I use them when I play melee. The Bananarang and Light Disc are especially goated.
I remember really liking the yoyos and boomarang when i first played, but my friends talked me out of them
I used the Chlorophyte Claymore to defeat plantera back in the days of “New recipe discovered”
5:06 DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS
W call
My friend i play with now and then loves using yoyos. And i love the breathing rod haha also i always keep a sickle in my inventory. I make temporary bases out of hay
I remember when you had to craft 5 light discs and stack them to be able to throw 5 at once. I kinda wish it was still that way with how easy they are to craft, it would also incentivize people to try harder from the bananarang.
I think the main reason yoyos are underused is because they're all the same; the only ones with variety are the Terrarian and the Hive-Five.
If you're doing a Yo-Yo only playthrough there's enough consistent ones to get that other Yo-Yo's rarely ever get used since another one with better stats will pop up quicker. Think those ones sold by the Skeleton Merchant.
Moonlord looks funi
