Just watch any muay thai fight and you'll see refs yelling 'chok' (fight) every 30 seconds or as soon as fighters circle just a little. It's just a cultural thing over here and being one of the main guys for ONE by now that probably leaves a mark.

Kerry Hatley and Herb both have intervened WAY too much recently, calling for fighters to "work, work to advance ur position" and giving non stop warnings about fouls that haven't even happened yet. The rules actually forbid a coach from talking to the opponent fighter during a fight. It's not a well known rule, but it exists in the regulations. Herb was right on that count.

The Shevchenko fight she’s done that in a few of her fights. She just usually isn’t as exciting when she’s on the ground as she doesn’t take risks. She was in Mount twice and put herself back into half guard. She does look to use a crucifix sometimes, but you never saw her looking to win the fight

I think sean will be back. He is only 29 and I watched his podcast today on the loss and he was very humble about it, no excuses at all, however he did bring up that he felt merab was too strong for him so I hope thats a wake up call for him to take 9 months and focus more on getting back to his feet as well as getting some more muscle man. Because even if you know how to get out of a position if your opponent just overpowers you, you're kinda fucked. I think this fight was a good wake up call for him because everyone thinks they have good grappling defense until they fight merab, and I think now he will understand the difference. I am sure he will be fighting for a title again within the next two years.
If Sean bulked up any more he'd have a tough time making the weight. He's already increased his muscle mass over the years since his debut on the Contender series, he was on a vegan diet and was much scrawnier back then. His TD defense ain't that bad Merab is just one step ahead.

I literally only watch the fights... I wait until the first 5 or so are finished then i click from one to the next without watching the whole event so i could care less about the venue as long as there is a crowd and it not at the apex. The videos on the wall dont add anything

I am disappointed at the fans not understanding why Valentina fought the way she did I seen hundreds of comments about how she would lose due to the “grappling” of grasso. She went out and once again proved you can say how she will lose and she will go out and do it better than her opponent. Hats off to her!

The Shevchenko fight she’s done that in a few of her fights. She just usually isn’t as exciting when she’s on the ground as she doesn’t take risks. She was in Mount twice and put herself back into half guard. She does look to use a crucifix sometimes, but you never saw her looking to win the fight
She isn’t exciting at all. She did nothing with the takedowns or with top position. Poor fight. Was more of a wrestler vs bjj
@@macurlyfries it’s not new though. She’s had plenty of fights like that, a lot of her fights have been exciting but she’s also had a fair few that have looked like this. She’s stopped using judo takedowns and opening up on the ground as much, it cost her the Nunes fight

I think sean will be back. He is only 29 and I watched his podcast today on the loss and he was very humble about it, no excuses at all, however he did bring up that he felt merab was too strong for him so I hope thats a wake up call for him to take 9 months and focus more on getting back to his feet as well as getting some more muscle man. Because even if you know how to get out of a position if your opponent just overpowers you, you're kinda fucked. I think this fight was a good wake up call for him because everyone thinks they have good grappling defense until they fight merab, and I think now he will understand the difference. I am sure he will be fighting for a title again within the next two years.
If Sean bulked up any more he'd have a tough time making the weight. He's already increased his muscle mass over the years since his debut on the Contender series, he was on a vegan diet and was much scrawnier back then. His TD defense ain't that bad Merab is just one step ahead.

I literally only watch the fights... I wait until the first 5 or so are finished then i click from one to the next without watching the whole event so i could care less about the venue as long as there is a crowd and it not at the apex. The videos on the wall dont add anything
