I visited Tiberias in October 2010, and wanted to visit Ein Gev by boat and eat at the fish restaurant, both of these were possible in an earlier trip in 1967. It was disappointing as no more tourist boats ,except for groups were available. We drove to EIn Gev, and didn't find any of the activities advertised on offer. I plan to revisit Israel in October 2015, so will the tourists amenities described in this u-Tube clip be on offer?
Alot of Kibutzim now pay their members a salary including the Kibbutz Manager I do not doubt that Ein Gev is a nice resort but you do not have to go there, it is just a business. Some Kibbutzim are built on stolen Arab land I do not know if this is true for Ein Gev but there are Nation Parks in Israel you can go there.
