Seeing that John and Paul had such a strong connection from early clips right through to the Get Back documentary proves that Paul didn’t die in 1966 car crash and was replaced. John would not have had the same feelings for the new guy as he had for Paul. That’s not something you can fake.
I don't ship them as a couple but they are so cute and they obviously loved each other like the bestest friends ever... they were basically brothers (and the footage shows it, there is nothing sexual between them)

Paul died in 1966 and was replaced by a look a like. That is why their relationship changed. If you watch videos of them before 1966 and after with this in mind. It all makes sense. “Paul”/Faul is not really Paul. They were sooo close. They were in love. Then Paul died. And John became depressed and that was when he started taking more drugs. He met Yoko Ono right around the same time Paul died.
