A classmate complaining to our english teacher about me doing homework in class either after finish the class, during recess, before the class, or even have it half done but proceed to answer the remain questions by word (it was english class, since my country's main language is Spanish), followed by an "Uhuh" from almost the entire class sans 4 guys included me who watch them dumbfounded with the teacher and after that she said this exact words: "um! maybe because he is more responsible? maybe because i don't care if he had it done now or before as long as he understand what i said? Maybe because you're irresponsible? MAYBE? JUST MAYBE?"
Literally i was in a mix of happiness and 2nd hand embarrassment at the same time.

Absolutely. When I was in the Navy, they came out with a power tool for chipping paint off the decks and hulls that they claimed to be "sailor" proof. Not long afterwards they started coming in for repairs due to burnt out motors. It took them awhile to figure out why. Guys were attaching long extension cords to them, setting them on the deck, SITTING on them and racing each other! I truly kid you not.

A coworker (wonderful , sweet woman) at my former job was hesitant to leave one day because there was a back log of work to do and I was going to be alone in my department once she left. I told her that I would be fine and I’ll get it sorted out and to “get out of my domain”, in a playful manner. She, in all seriousness looked at me and said “stop using those Spanish words on me, you know I don’t understand”. I was confused, so was another coworker from another department. I asked what word she was talking about, and she repeated “domain”. We both looked at her, puzzled, and asked if she was serious. She was. We had to tel her that it was in fact an “English” word, not Spanish. It’s was a running joke until I left! This same woman was eventually moved to my shift (3rd) and we had ordered food from a local sandwich shop. She ordered hers on 7 grain bread, but then while we were eating, said that she was only getting 3.5 grains of bread in her sandwich. Our other coworker and myself both looked at her and asked why she thought that and she, again in all seriousness, said it was because she was only eating HALF her sandwich. And half of 7 is 3.5…we gently explained to her that no matter how many pieces the bread was cut into, it was still MADE with 7 grains. For those wondering, yes she she is blonde, but I will take her brain fog and forgetting of simple things over others being Karen’s for no reason any day.
I once convinced a boy that if you hadn't had your period yet having sex would kill you. To some people I might've looked like an idiot but he stopped trying to sleep with me since I hadn't had my period yet. I was 10 he was 13

@@KaneLivesInDeath Oh I just told him if you had sex before your period it caused ectopic pregnancies. Which is something he could google since ectopic pregnancies are a real thing. Also sex ed was done by our churches in that area so none of us knew shit about sex

I shouldn't call Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug a stalker, because she's not a stalker, she's a Yandere. Tried to explain to her that a Yandere is a stalker who's willing to kill for the one they're stalking, and they said that Yandere's don't need to kill to be Yandere's. Tried to explain to her where the term Yandere came from, and even linked her to the Urban Dictionary entry on Yandere, and she STILL denied it. She also claimed that the characters shouldn't learn anything about themselves and grow into better people, because only shows aimed at preschoolers teach lessons. She also tried to correct me when I said the movie making Plagg fart non-stop for an entire 3 minute scene was too immature for the target demographic being 9-12 years old, and that those jokes are more for 3 year olds, and she tried to argue that it was fine because it was a kid's film. So, to recap, the series should have a Yandere for a main character, no character growth or message to be taken out of it, and so immature that only toddlers will find it entertaining.
