Nice build. I love the dark rich look of walnut! It also has a very distinct smell when you work with it. Interesting finding with the"mistake" with the neck/heal junction. I may try that. Thanks! Love my new "6 strings r ..." t-shirt. I doubt many people will get it. 😅
Idea....... Bolt a spoon handle to the tail piece for a tremolo handle. I saw someone use that idea on a lap steel guitar as a "bender"... I made a lap steel and did it too. It worked great.
Random thoughts: beautiful neck, You are the Ace of hearts, The guitar has two eyes and you are YY (too wise), This reminds me of the Tabak box I got from you, except mine still has the label on top. Take care, I hope all is well.
Ahhh... Mr. Pucket, as usual, an excellent build. Well done sir. As for your whammy bar lever... might I suggest a small spoon? A spoon of the appropriate size could be cut to a suitable length and attached (spot welded or soldered) to a small piece of flat stock with matching holes for the strings. String tension would hold the lever in place. By using string tension, the lever could be installed or removed as desired.
Great Job on that build. Looks and sounds great!!! Just a commit to future builders. Tuning is E3 B3 E4 don't do like I did and try to tune to the wrong Octave. Strings break.
Nice build Del! Since there are none for sale that I can find, have you ever thought about publishing an EBe tuned CBG songbook with the songs and riffs you have showcased on your channel?
LOL. Hey, looks like you’re kicking butt there. Thank you for your service. It’s really been a joy for me to watch you do the things that you’re doing. If I only have the time right? You have a super day. Remember you start out with 10 fingers that’s what you’re supposed to stop with.
Dale , the scale you showed has a very interesting sound but the notes are on the frets # 1-4-5-6 -7-10-12 like you said or 1-4-5-7-8-10-12 like you played ?
@@PuckettCigarBoxGuitar , welcome to my club ! But the good side of it is that your fingers are following your brain and not your mouth ! Very nice guitar you builded there with a nice sound…
Make sure you take care working with walnut. You can have quite an allergic reaction and you can build up a sensitivity. Make sure you wear a dust mask when sanding for your own safety. I didn't and can no longer work walnut.
You got ❤ for CBG that's for sure. Beautiful build.
Very nice box! Love the walnut and the old time look of it!

you’re addicted !!! 😎👍🏽
Dang Del!!!! That CBG is awesome!!!! So great playing as well! Thanks bud!
thanks for reaching out

Thanks for the whammy, add a little knob and you've got it.

Lot of love on that neck, on Del Puckett CBGs the neck is always as cool as the box itself, lotta pride in that work. Happy Tuesday
Nice. Great sound, like the look and subtle niceties.
You're always one build ahead of me but I'm catching up 👁️
Very nice...I like the walnut look and wood!
Thank you very much Cindy 😎
Nice one Del 👍
Beautiful & I like the curve
Built a Tabak 4 string and used a Strat pup and pushed the out side pole piece’s down flush and it really growls
Great again 😎
Great job and many thanks 😎
Super guitar, when will appear on your channel, short lessons for playing such guitars, that would be great?

Beautiful looking and sounding build. I'm amazed what you can do in a single day. Thanks, Del!
uuuh … this video was done in one day … but the actual build took several weeks 😎

That actually makes me feel much better cause that's about how long mine took 👍
Thanks for the tip about the zero fret! I'd been having the same problem on my latest build, now I know how to fix it 😊
Nice build , clean sound 👍
I like beat dark color, looks like a Martin 3 stringer

Write it for CB Gitty to publish.
What about the signature cup hook?🤠
I love the hook! It hangs on the wall next to my chair, so it gets played a lot.
I'm really looking for a new guitar... !
whoa !!
nelly !!!
