my solution is that the devs just give everyone back there daily login streaks and give them idk the amount of daily tokens they had equaling to there old daily login streak, for example if i had a 100 streak before this update and after they should give the person with the 100 login streak (example) 100 login tokens.

I completely agree with you how agitating this update is.. after the update arrives, my entire server EXPLODED in rage as they looked at the new login system. They kept saying that their streaks disappeared and this new system is just pure trash. Dw Fluffy, I’m with you :)

Yep, i had a 80+ day streak, and then, i got only one point. Also, it resetted to 15 streak, and still i only got one point, wth.
Similar to me I had nearly a 30-day streak and it got reduced to 12 man. I was so close to getting felliso But now it's going to take me a whole month again
Honestly I can understand both sides to this... interesting conflict:
New daily login, the hassle, the 45 days... for a griffin-cat? So... What're pros and cons here?
Pros: one easy way for you to gain tokens you NEED, instead of praying to the holy Jesus himself if you need a revive, and you get the opposite, or a max growth. Just slap in 3 days, and you can go back to terrorizing the servers with a creature you accidentally got killed, instead of spending tokens or recycling creatures-
Cons: Very understandable if you've had around a 90+ day streak and you're back to square one, OR if you were close to getting a Felissio and ultimately got sent back. Plus, like FluffyTSG spoken his video about, the new creature not very worth it (PvP-wise).
The new creature's animations are a whole new evolution; idle animations, more detailed expressions- possibly something that'll continue? However, not many people are happy with the stats itself... I can relate.
Like FluffyTSG ALSO said- maybe give the players (when they log in each day) the option for a REWARD or a POINT. I 'unno, but I do feel that idea would help.
I think fluffy’s idea for choosing between points or a reward is a great idea :]

Unpopular Opinion: I REALLY liked the Lss Event, Grindy Yes, but I was able to Actually Follow it, more enjoyable than the easter one, I struggle with events with how scattered out and elaborate the quests could be
The creature itself is just an updated Fellisio that isn't much better. But The system is also very annoying
Oh and I also want to add is that no one will have this spec until AUGUST.
The inflation has been around for a long time in this game, though people still want to support it and play it. That is on them honestly.

I agree that legacy was better as well. I remember playing the first year it came out and being excited for a creature survival game, only for it to turn into a grindy collection game. (I do like grindy games but CoS sucks at making it enjoyable, especially when it feels like people with money get a free pass).

My biggest pet peeve with CoS creatures right now is the speed. Take the werewolf one for example, which with a rather lean build and powerful-looking limbs, you'd think it would be fast but its not. Now with some extremely large ones, I see being super slow as they need to carry their own weight. But there's a lot of slowness in some more medium-sized creatures where it feels like you have to slow down time around them or turn the air into space for it to justify their nearly running-in-place speed. I wouldn't mean being a bit weaker if it means the speed is more accurate because that alone effects combat.
I'm also wondering why they're starting to do a lot more "insert irl creature + extra feature" designs lately when making designs that were obviously recognizable as an irl animal was something that used to be against the design rules for creators

The speed issue is a huge problem yeah, there's a lot of creatures who's base desctiption talks about how they're not heavy hitters but they move really fast to make up for it, only for those creatures to move just as slow as others in their teir if not slower. The Jhiggo Jangl for example talks about how its a fast moving creature and it looks like it should move fast, but it feels so slow and clunky once it reaches adult age.
And they've been slowly twisting the rules for a while now, my friend who's been playing since practically the beginning (back when there were no food spawns and being around diffrent spices would stack discomfort points on you) they originally had a rule where all the creatures had to be natural, no mechanical stuff whatsoever unless it was like magic rocks or something, then they changed it which gave us a bunch of mecha creatures and a redesign of the Ghibli into a jet fighter thing.
I like the idea of having double choice being able to pick on what daily login you would like, I feel so bad for all those ppl that was so close to getting the felliso tbh the devs should at least give those ppl the option to swap bk to the old login rewards if they wish so they can claim it. But your idea works well giving us choice is way better 😊

I think the log in streak should be exactly like the other game they have, (dragon adventures) once you get to the end you can pick wich one you want.
It's really crazy to think that we're going to have to wait more than a month to find out the real value of a creature just because no one has its species yet
With the old system, taking the LOWEST common denominator (lowest reward) for all 4 weeks up until Fellisio, in the new system would be worth 108 tokens. Instead of getting the CHEAPEST reward for 28 days, you now have to log in for 108. An 80 day increase...
Tossing in the highest rewards we can get the range of tokens you USED to be able to get every 28 days; 108-155. You used to be able to get 108-155 worth of rewards in 28 days. Now, it takes a third of a year to get what you used to be able to get in a month.
Amazing.

I think this is an amazing way to help the problem, I saw somewhere else that they thought of splitting the streak you have now in half and basically taking that and making it the amount of daily login points you had (from when they updated it) I have two gali storeds, one is glimmer, one is bewitched and I can tell you that I HATE spending 250 just to restart it each time it dies.
Also fun fact, you can make money of this, 1,000-(depends on how many alts you use) mush a week, buy max growth tokens and sell them for 500, by the time the creature is done with its 45 day date and people have the spec you can just buy it and look for people that are just overpaying a ton
If I can be honest I've loved galiryn so much, not for it's stats or because I liked the new daily login, it was simply because it's so expressive.. like for what I know only aueko could blink and the eyes could move, I've never seen/noticed this on other creatures so having another creature like this just feels nice

Okay so for me I don’t mind the update. For 1 I play the game for fun and I am on literally every day so the points aren’t an issue for me. 2 I really like the creature so as long as I eventually get it I really do not mind. 3 I had a 49 day streak so it doesn’t really matter to me (I’ve had far longer). 4 I don’t mind that the creature is ‘weak’ because I tend to enjoy those types of creatures. 5 as an indie game developer I know how hard it is to please everyone with an update which just isn’t possible, so I end up creating updates I as a player would enjoy. Either way I know thta this’ll eventually blow over as every complaint usually does when there is another ‘horrible’ update.

I was soooo annoyed knowing my streak was gone and any progress too, no compensation, nothing
That, and learning points in the lss event you have leftover are just gone with no compensation or something like shrooms equal to the points had, even if you spent robux (i got what i wanted but had some leftover to buy a plush or something) and recently accidentally died in a flood and lost all my death points, reaaaaaally soured my view on the game and made me less motivated to play and support it
In my opinion it destroys a lot of other things too. You can already naturally get the limited Gacha by our old system, but you have to wait to get it, but now people can just manually buy it whenever they want to. It feels less special to be allowed to buy what’s supposedly “limited” any given moment. Maybe that’s just me, I don’t know, but it still makes the gachas you can buy from there seem a lot more insignificant. And tbh, I think felliso has better stats than the new creature in my opinion, which is sort of disappointing because you have to wait longer for the newer creature. I don’t want them to make felliso less powerful, but simply give the new creature better stats or a redesign in the near future. Because I’m pretty sure the community won’t be forgetting it for a long while after what’s happened. But, on the bright side, the new system does offer a lot of opportunities, specifically for those who spend a lot of time playing the game and want to grow their inventory. Though I find it hard to believe anyone could have 100% of the creatures as updates like this are nearly monthly now. (Not that it’s practically a bad thing, since that also means bug fixes and the occasional redesigns.) With all this potential, I can see the prices of tokens such as: revive, max growth, appearance token, etc, going down by a lot. Which may be for the better or worst in some cases, but it offers a lot of new things and ideas to think about.
I like how we can choose a daily login rewards because sweet gatcha is 700 mush also a token.

My solution idea is u only having to have 28 points like the Fellisio was before the update, and the Fellisio being only 15 points

my moment of thought is simple and I feel that it should be something that at least a large part of this community should think about: The majority, and I repeat, MOST of the Updates of this game are a Greek gift, it may have cool creatures but be sure that either it will be a pain to achieve, and still have an 80% chance of being horrible and not worth 1% of the time spent.
I did not expect a complete overhaul of the login rewards. What I thought was the new kriffin 1.5 will be placed somewhere in day 14 or 21 if the login rewards, and I think that is what it should've been.
Edit: Kriffin 1.5 has diver and is all-terrain, I guess it can be useful for grinding, I guess. The solution in the video is also a good solution. That's what I also thought of the second time.

Yknow what is even worse about this? The community creature they are planning to release ( the giant snake centipede) is going to be a daily login, imagine how much it will cost and how agonizingly long it will take to get it if you havent been keeping logging in for points.
I feel like they could at least make it abit better like, you get an increase in points depending on how long you have kept the streak.

I feel like the whole Less rewards per login thing (eg. 2 revs & 1 random per week rather than 7 things) could be fixed if when you spent your points in the shop you also got everything that is listed before it. That way in the end you would still get lots of tokens for loggin in for prolongued periods of time but also get to be selective with what you cash in your points on like how the update is intended. If that made sence lol.

Personally, I don’t really mind the update, it could well be worse and the ability to buy Gachas with an alternative currency is pretty nice in my eyes
I believe the update is pretty bad, except... The new creature, instead of being strong, it's fun to survive as, which is the whole concept of cos, thats probably why it's for login rewards.
They should make it so you get a point and the daily reward. Make a seperate shop for the points so you cant get the new creature just from logging in so theres an incentive to actually have points

I honestly thought that they were going to keep the login display/system the same but at the end there’s a chance to get the Fellisio or Galiryn, similar to how there were chances to get different tokens and Gachas per login.

I will be honest, I do not play CoS very much and this update did not really effect me HOWEVER I do feel bad for those that were close to getting the Felli and those that had high login streaks. They should have def gotten something as a reward for their dedication.
With an 108 day streak currently, i gotta say it doesn't bother me. I do think it's a worse system DGMR, but like, of all things for a large part of the community (apparently) to get angry at is.... this? I understand why they are but I just don't see the point.
That and.. tbh it's just a game, a roblox game no less. Don't think people should that bothered over it.
edit: I think they should just give more tokens depending on your streak number, would actually give a reason to have a login streak past 28 for once

Looking back at it now I’m kinda glad I got fellisio before the update day
I'm so glad I quit the game a while back. I don't have to be disappointed so often. I left when they started remodelling, or redesigning, old creatures. Specifically, I left when they changed the Knalriki (it was one of my favorite designs! I hated the new one). The redesigns weren't the only factor though, as I disliked the community and how pay to win and grindy the game became. Anyways, good luck to those who still play, I hope Sonar Studios becomes a bit less money hungry and more into their players having fun.

CoS could've easily stopped a bunch of complaints by giving them points from their current streak.

The previous login system was alright, we don't need to go and change something that was already good enough.

I think theres little bit of a different way id fix it
Its supposed to be a system where you “choose” so id keep the shop but depending on the day - so it would work like a calendar basically theres 22 items in the shop 2 who are creatures
Id basically go left to right so like day 1 is ‘random creature token’ what costs 1 so give 1 point sure but then going on from that day 5 is appearance change token what is 2 so gife 2 for that day and so on - that way its easier to save up points and get what you want and if someone wants they can get 1 thing every day but if someone wants idk as much revive tokes as possible they can just spam that as much as they like - im just hoping itll work like that but if not then yea.. like it would stack up but id rather have that then wait a month and a half for a new creature who honestly isnt even as great.. like quality wise even feli is better..

i might sound like these "omg my tripophobia!!!" type of person but the thing i dont like about the new creature is that its face is expressive. too expressive. I dont know if anybody else feels this way but to me its scary. I think that's something like uncanny valley. I appreciate the effort they put in it but it makes me feel freaked out and idek why

I was SOOOO Lucky to get fellisio the literal DAY before the update. Also this new log in makes me so mad because I would sell any max growth or revive tokens for mush, and now they’re not worth shit
Playing CoS since beta/release and watching it go from a beautiful, unique survival game just for it to become a disgusting cash grab is incredibly saddening
Yeah, I tried Galiryn myself and it's simply a pain. The stamina is so atrocious that its impossible to escape other creatures unless there's water nearby to dive into. You can't hover for very long while in flight, and it's difficult to use in pvp situations of any kind. Not to mention a lot of other players are specifically targeting them due to a mass general disliking of its design. Not at all worth it for the amount of time you have to spend getting points and not spending them on smaller things that you would've received daily through the old system.
Whay would hqve beeb better was just giving you the possibility between getting the Fellisio or the Galiryn like how you got the pissibility of getting a partial growth token or a half glimmer token on day three, etc.
Adding a new currency instills the idea of grind in other players which is what the community wants to avoid. So by adding a new currency and eliminating the excitement of thr daily login you eliminate something that actually made rhe community excited.
I was one day away from the feliso and i have a full time job so sometimes keeping my streak is hard! Also those 66 aereis howww??!!??
I don’t think they want people to play their game anymore 😭. It’s also a literal feli dupe as well, an all terrain cat that you get from login rewards. It might not be the same tier and it lacks invisibility, but they’re pretty close. Not to mention, any value it had a chance of getting is gone. 48 days after this update, most of the players will have this creature and it will most likely be insanely cheap(my opinion), or people will sell it for crazy amounts of mush to compensate for how hard it is to get

Each additional day in the streak should multiply the points you get by 0.1 so you end up getting double points by the time you reach 10 days and etc

BRO THAT WAS ME, I reported the bug cuz I had 96 days but they deleted it and said I had to find a newer server but I guess there are no new servers cuz still have 13 days… but at least I got noticed by Fluffy I guess 😂

i actually quite like the event, yeah i had a 45 day streak, but the fact that u can GUARANTEE your rewards is great to me

They nerfed daily rewards..
Bring back the old daily rewards thats all T0 T
