Great job man, if the blade is not rotating, it's probably the internal teeth washer not seated well with the spline shaft, or the bolt is not tighten down properly
I think the issue was the lack of grease. For whatever reason my FS-240 requires a lot more grease then my FS-131. I did have the head loose one time after a shaft replacement and it wasn’t spinning at that point too, but after snugging it up, it worked good as new.
Could you please send me the web link where I can buy this exact or newer version of this product and the extra blades. It is for a thick bush job in Africa Thanks
Hallo my young friend. It's good to see you work so hard. I know you must to earn a living. I want to ask you a question. When you did the beaver dams...where you paid or did you do it for free. I think I speak for everyone when I say we miss it. It was like a tv drama. You know like Dynasty or Dallas.😂😂🤣. We always had so much fun watching the drama unfold. Will you give up..or will they. O the suspense. Great fun. But you do what you must. I will keep on watching. GOD BLESS YOU. By the way. Who made the music on your last two videos. Karima South Africa
I have used them in the past and I'm not really a fan of how they cut. This area was actually a lot better to do since there were rocks and the ground wasn't flat. If the ground is flat and there are no objects then the brush knife is ideal.
Yes they could, but I would certainly keep this area clear all the time. If it was my property I would just get a lawn in there and add some hardscape to it.
@@golovinpropertyservices thanks for your reply. Just another question, have you used the .130 line on your FS131? I have the 131, but was wondering if I can try using a thicker line. Currently I just use either the echo crossfire .095, or switch to my Oregon blade, but sometimes I would like to be able to just use a thicker line rather than the blade for some cutting that is like the stuff you cut in this video. I tried with the .095 and the line gets chewed up super fast.
@@randyyeung9285 I have used this line with my FS-131 before, but you need to make sure your trimmer head can fit the .130. I have the auto cut 36-2 which can fit up to .130. If you have the aux to cut 25-2 the maximum size is .105
@@golovinpropertyservices Thanks! I will look into that 36-2 head. I still only have the basic head that came with the unit, but was wondering too. Thanks again for your reply and suggestions! Great work you are doing! You are helping so many people with your services, and your postings are great examples that show how to tackle big jobs with just basic equipment and hard work! Cheers Mate!
I'm very thankful to God that we don't have an poisonous snakes out here in our state, but there are always surprises in areas like this, mostly trash, but occasionally some critters.
nothing like watching a good looking lad do an awesome job
Thanks!
That trimmer is done so well.
Wow, what a difference it made. That was a much needed cut down. It looks 💯 percent better. Awesome 👌
I really loved this area, seeing the creek in the freshly cut area was extremely satisfying! :)

Thanks Karina! Yes, I’ll try to get over to the beaver dams and get some work done over there. It’s just hard with a busy schedule right now.
What trimmer head did you use? can you send the link
Stihl AutoCut 36-2. It was bought from a Stihl dealer.
Hello i like your videos alot, what cord line you use and like the most?
👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
You should use brush knife for this!
I have used them in the past and I'm not really a fan of how they cut. This area was actually a lot better to do since there were rocks and the ground wasn't flat.
If the ground is flat and there are no objects then the brush knife is ideal.
The stream should be kept clear. If someone wanders onto the property, and doesn't know it's there, they could fall in and get hurt.
Yes they could, but I would certainly keep this area clear all the time. If it was my property I would just get a lawn in there and add some hardscape to it.
hello you have very good videos and can I ask what trimmer head and what size do you have trimmer line?
Thank you! This is the Stihl AutoCut 36-2 with .130 Stihl cf3 pro trimmer line.
@@golovinpropertyservices thanks
Here's a link to this same area we did last year:

Great job. Well done. But can I ask, the grass trimmer, is it blade or string. Thanks
This was all string, .130 size.
Many poor weeds died that day 😢. They will arise! 😂
Let's hope they won't arise too fast! :)
Didn't he cut down a huge Blackberry bramble covered with blooms?
I probably did
Just curious what trimmer line and thickness did you use?
This was the stihl CF3 Pro .130 trimmer line.

You can always tell when someone is using a trimmer with horse power, I myself use a fs 280 with a .3 line. There's no need for blade.
This trimmer is amazing, I really love the increased RPM with the thick line, it takes on even blackberries with ease.
Very nice good thing no lion or a Tiger came after you 😆 in how old are you
Yeah, it’s a great thing nobody was hiding there😅 I’m in my early 20’s
Wow your pretty young im 35 years old in you have alot energy for that age

Are you referring to the brush cutter?
