Try not to kick it over it will snap the trans input shaft that's why there electric start now. The oil you used is the reason why it was slipping they say not to use synthetic at all the clutch will slip. Every thing you're saying is common problems with the190cc & 212cc motor. Look for a vacuum leak or muffler leak its probably why it pops. you should get a quick shifter for it they have a standalone for these it comes on the mini 190 gp Moto. I've used this same oil for 6 years now. I think it's just when it's still cold. Once it's warmed up it's fine but I'm impatient sometimes lol.
is there a reason you usually start it with that battery vs kicking it?
Just easier while I have it handy.
