I know Smash Tour was the ugly younger sibling to Smash Run, but it still holds a special place in my heart. Every day after school me and my friends would meet up, get soda and candy, and play a round of Smash Tour. This video brought back a lot of fond memories, thank you for playing this mode you gentlemen, and Vern.

Everybody I talked to about Smash Tour seemed to hate it, which I never understood. It was always so much fun

Probably because it replaced this games adventure mode and it being inferior to smash run
I hated it when I tried it because it's a chaotic mess. And not the fun kind of chaos like actually playing smash with Items. I hate that everyone moves at the same time on the board with way too many flashing lights going off at once. I hate that almost every event is just a mostly regular game of smash with a small twist. They should've incorporated things like race to the finish, homerun contest and other side modes as minigames. I know Sakurai hates doing this, but this game mode would've actually been way more fun if it played more like a real Mario Party game instead of unnecessarily reinventing the rules and game flow just for the sake of being "different".

People always hated this mode back in the day. The times I played it with friends made me honestly like it back in the day despite not owning Smash 4 Wii U myself. I only had Smash 4 3DS.

This game mode is pretty fun. It feels kinda like Mario Party had a baby with Smash

I loved playing this mode as a kid. I remember my older brother purposely steal my mains to annoy me
This game mode was seriously my childhood. My fondest memories of playing smash as a kid was with this game and game mode.

I'm honestly absolutely loving these in-person videos, you guys being in the same room while you're playing just adds something to your videos that I can't quite explain. The videos you guys do are always absolutely amazing, but seeing you guys playing together and talking to each other in person just adds a kind of cozy feeling to them that somehow just makes them even better
All this Mario Party DS ost in the back makes me realise how hilarious and amazing it would be to watch these 4 play that game

And Brent loses but still manages to win. A certified party crashers video. Eevee and Brent acting like SpongeBob and Patrick during the sponsor segment was perfect. This is a bit out of left field, but it baffles me how much personality Nintendo managed to give the Miis over the years. At base they're generic, customizable avatars, but there's a certain.... vibe to anything the Miis do. They've become oddly endearing in my opinion.
Smash Tour on the Wii, and Smash Run on the DS were both extremely fun to play. Smash Run being my favorite of the two. It was nice to be able to fight all of the iconic enemies from Subspace Emissary again, it brought back memories of Brawl. And having a PVE spree collecting all of your stats before the actual PVP fight was cool af. It’s a shame they didn’t continue with them. Having fun game modes like them instead of JUST regular fighting makes the game more refreshing and fun to play.
I honestly hope that, now that Nintendo is done with the character roster (which actually they've been for a while), they're gonna release some game mode DLC. I'd absolutely pay extra for Smash Run and Smash Tour in Ultimate.

This was the mode that I feel only causal players enjoyed back in the day, and even when I was a casual smash player i didn't like it too much

Dude when I was like 7 or 8 years old I used to play this game mode religiously this was when I only knew that smash attacks are good and didn’t know what a tilt was lmao good to see someone still remembers it
I have a few ideas for you guys. For the first one, you have to have someone end with 20 stars. No matter who. At the end of the game, if someone has 20 stars, all of you win. If no one has 20 stars, you all lose. Bonus points if you manage to carry Vernias.
The second one is having everyone start with like 10 or even 20 stars. First to 0 stars wins. If you run out of rounds and no one reached 0 stars, you start a new round on another board (randomly selected?) with however many stars each of you had left (including any Bonus Stars you may have gotten). You are allowed to not go towards the star, but if you do end up at the star, you must roll a die (or use a 1-6 Random Number Generator) for every choice, and if you roll a 6, you must take the star. Best if every "subgame" is 10 rounds, so every 10 rounds you get Bonus Stars and switch boards.
This is over all is my favorite mode in smash for some reason.
My memories of smash 4 have all but been overwritten by ultimate at this point. Watching this game is like peaking into an alternate dimension.
I loved Smash Tour. I would play it with my mom sometimes, by myself, and with friends. I wish they had brought it back but better

Smash4 has some weird modes. There’s this other mode where you are in like a dungeon or something and you have to face enemies or smth. It’s weird.
It’s called smash run and it’s actually really good.
