I was not able to install a program I need because of C++ saying cant find drive to install. Also I could not uninstall the c++ through normal means. Removing it from the registry and installing both x86 then x64 Solved my problem. Great explanation and supporting info in the text and video. THANK YOU!!

This Actually was Hopefully for anyone unsure. Thank you! Had a problem with the OBS 30.2.3 update and kept getting this error. Followed the Steps, couldn’t do the back up (something wrong w my disk) and now it’s up and running. i Didn’t update obs again though!
Awesome explanation, was struggling to install SQL Server because of this error, it's the Registry Editor step that saved me I think, most other solutions were only pointing to the PowerShell code. Thank you so much.
Thank you. I didn't delete my old runtimes (only the dupliicates). I just deleted the registry entries for the Visual that was failing, restarted the PC and that's it, I could unistall and reinstall. Thanks.

Helped because installed a program and it worked, but it corrupted two files on C++ thingy. Videos said x64 for 64-bit but didn't work since couldn't find minimum runtime, so this video helped by saying I also need to install 32-bit. Although I installed 32-bit, deleted vcruntimes then installed 64-bit (if there's VCruntime then 64-bit doesn't install)
I have never owned a pc and was having trouble downloading some games and was super frustrated but this video is the exact solution to the problem if you are debating if you should do this or not? It’s a YES! Thank u so much
