I have 17h of loki rn, and i feel like he's exactly what "Strategist" means. You really need to be 1 step foward the entire game, positioning yourself and timing all your cooldowns. It's a really hard hero to master, but once you do you will feel like you can do anything literally.
The ability to both deal good damage and heal very fast and potentially save allies with a body block your right it perfectly fits the name in my 2 hours of play time i have 100k damage and healing (literally 340 apart) and 50k blocking with a ko streak of 26 being my highest its just the perfect charcter to round your teams edges
It's 4* for a reason. I am just getting the hang of how you play him, but i never been happier when I shut down a Scarlet Witch, Iron Man or Magneto Ultimate 😅 those are the most satisfying things to do
Loki is so much fun to play. I've managed to save a few games just because of how hard he can be to kill when using his abilities correctly and copying the correct hero with his ult
The hardest part about playing Loki is 1 trying to heal your teammates that dive to hell and jump around like crazy since his isn’t locked on… second it’s having them understand his healing circles cause they’ll stand on it for a second then just right back to diving instead of trying to stay back
To counter that i just spawn my loki tight in front of them sometimes 2 clones and just drop it there if they wont be the smart one well then as my job as loki i have to be the smart one lol
I had a Venom player in one of my games on Klyntar in Ranked. Guy was constantly tried to 1v5-6 the other team, and i was sweating my balls off to keep him alive. Left our 1st round with 14k heal just because of him. But he didn't died once. I hope he built an altar to me and worship me since 🤣
Great vid! if you have an ally Luna, you can drop crystal (5 seconds) Luna ult (12 seconds), duplicate Luna ult (12 seconds) by the time your duplicate ult is over you can pop crystal again for another 5 seconds. That's 34 seconds of party immunity! (outside of one shots lol)
These are very good tips. Another good tip is pretending to be a clone. You'd be surprised how many ppl straight up ignore a not moving Loki. I've had ppl walk past me or even hit me then stop when I don't react despite being fired at. This is part of why I kinda disagree with is a firing line aka clumping. Yes firing lines can be good, but they generally don't survive. Clumping can be good. It's probably best when you're team has pushed a good amount forward and you're chilling in the back. Otherwise you're a huge target, the enemy knows exactly where you are since you're 1 of the 3, and you don't have an immediate escape with a pre-position clone. The benefit of pretending to be a clone and having pre-positioned clones is a lot of the time the enemy won't realize if you swap. Taking time to become familar with the maps so you know where to place clones so you can hit friendlies/enemies from a variety of angles is better imo cuz enemies (esp divers) will waste their time trying to find the real you while you.
really great vid man, straight to the point and short without leaving out any super important info, i'm really trying to get good at least at ONE healer since this game requires a lot of role switching based on teammates
it depends, yes going luna or atom or something is a great pick for those ults and healing but its worth it to block lets say a penni ult, with another penni ult, or being a damage sponge for ages if there a bruce in play somewhere or going for squad wipes like spiderman or punisher etc etc so i'd say theres alot of nuonce to his ult besides "just grab another healer to keep healing" i honestly find it better to grab a tank and bullet sponge while also having some decent offense then just domain when you turn back if everyones low yk and yeah bunching up clones is good, but they shoot where you shoot REGARDLESS of placement, so its actually better to set up a flanking clone and start pincer attacking them, hitting from every odd direction and confusing them, for them to spit their attention just enough to secure a kill (its also great for getting around shieldwalls)
Coming back to this. This video has helped my loki game so much! I’ve gotten MVP twice since yesterday! Can’t wait to bring him confidently into comp now. Thank you!
Out of my 19 games played i have been mvp of my team 15 of them i have on multiple ocasions had the highest damage healing and blocking out of the whole game once you get him down your unstaoppable
wouldn’t really call any of these secrets but it got me to click the video I guess lol. Another good tip for the ult is that the timer resets when you use the ult you copied so you can wait until the last second then ult and have more time.
I usually go for Punisher or Starlord with the ultimate, obviously depends on A: we have another strategist, and B: I have the time to transform and utilise those characters. I won games playing around it. Also, there's a setting for Loki where you need to confirm your Ult to who you transform into, and sure it sounds annoying to press another button, but you'll have more control over who you chose, not like someone accidentally stepped in front of you and you couldn't get value out of your ult.
definitely a huge factor of loki is making sure you're getting the right ult usage. his ult could completely go to waste if you choose a poor hero to copy. i usually steal hela's ult if i have one present in the game because her ult (if used correctly) can pick off an insane amount of people.
fun tip, swap and just stand still afterward, 9/10 times won't know where tf you went and will just go after the other strategist(sorry luna) and if they're melee, she'll win that fight as long as you keep blasting
It was just quick match but literally got mvp using Loki on my first game after watching the video. Just started using him today. Great logical tips based on iq plays, that dont just come down to if u can aim better
The invis seems to last until you break it so if I am the only one on the point Ill have clones and walk around invis. Dives looking for picks waste time on clones. Also try experimenting with standing still sometimes. If they have a hela/hawkeye it can be really dangerous but often in fights if I come out of invis and stand still shooting I get ignored the rest of the fight.
Bonus tip dont stand in the middle of your clones all the time when doing firing line mix it up to confuse anyone hard targeting you like a sniper or bow
Also put your clones in weird spots up high there are many spots where he will literally just stand on the air basically and nobody ever looks up alloeing me to literally kill people behind cover shooting at them in there general direction also helps when you respawn to heal teamates on the front lines if you can get the angle fown or cummunicate with your teammates
I have my clone bound to left click. Is there a way to make the confirm button left click as well? Right now it’s left click right click which is fine but left click left click would be so much easier.
I’m not going to lie I have 37 hours on Loki and he’s not hard at all to use. I switch both healing and damage. Just practice his clones and always have them on you. I play very offensive Loki so in my opinion this video isn’t very helpful instead shows how to be defensive with him.

100% agree I hate it when they run away with no health while I try to place pods for healing
That’s just because the game is new and players are inexperienced, but rn I don’t run into that issue as much now.

Extremely OP combo. Been running that in rank when Luna isn't banned, the time of invisibility is crazy

finally loki advice that tells you ways to play the character and not a glorified ability overview. great work!

Healing venom/spidey is the most challenging part lol
I like copying Peni Parker’s ult and run around the objective or run a little ahead the escort then run back
Loki's ult is flexible if you need heals then go for it, but I enjoy copying an enemy character my team doesn't have so I can shake things up
Very useful
Quick and clear, good shiit keep it up !

how do you keep your crossair on while showing clones

Loki is the best.
Loki has carried me to diamond 2
how does the clone and telport shut down ults?
was talking about the regen field
Loki is the best character in the game.

I will keep watching your videos if they remain under 5 minutes. Every video is 15-30 minutes long explaining a bunch of useful information. 🤣
Loki copy last for 15 sec maximum and here u screaming Again for a whole minute something is wrong😅
