To be fair, Dunmer/Chimer weren't much better in that regard (war and betrayal is written within their culture and history) and the Thalmor purge wood elves and practice Eugenics (though that admittedly, is a biased source). An then the Maomer had a firm beef with the Altmer, though that was years ago. The only real win the Elves have over the races of Men in regards to violence, is that they generally don't jump to genocide to solve their problems.
@@lazilycatharticone4191 True, the Dunmer/Chimer left the Aedric Elven Gods, and went off to be seduced by the Daedra (poor Trinimac tried to stop them, but unfortunately failed) The Orcs aren't too bad either, except the raiders who pillage/kill innocents. As for the current Thalmor, yeah it sucks they're killing off Bosmer who aren't 100% down with their ideals. As for the Eugenics, I don't think they kill 9/10 babies, that's definitely biased/propaganda. I do think, they do practice some Eugenics, and I believe they likely only kill babies with deformities, like dwarfism, missing limbs or the likes. Which, to be fair, is an argument even in our real world today as well, to see whether it's moral or not, or if we're ending any future suffering for the poor baby. If the Altmer did this, and some other Elves, I wouldn’t be surprised. But the Mer have great biology, so I imagine it's a rare occurrence for their offspring to be, well, deformed as often as that. But yeah, Humans, especially in Merethic and 2st Era times seemed to jump to full Genocide instead of anything else. The Redguards invaded Hammerfell, slaughtering all. The Atmorans killed all Snow Elves they could find, all for a single settlement which, for all intents of purposes, may or may not have been a massacre (don't know if the Snow Elves took Prisoners, Ysgramor wasn't at Saarthal when it was Sacked). And the Nedes from beforehand were still totally fine, going so far as to even help some of the Snow Elves like in Mirtil Angoth's predicament. (Which means Bosmer and Falmer were 2 Elven races who didn't actively hate humans) The Imperials slaughtered the Allied Aylieds who aided their people and Allesia just a century earlier, etc. Elves don't seem as keen on Genocide, which you'd think they would considering the likes of the Aylieds or Dwemer, and yet, they never went ot of their way to do it.

The Bretons in Skyrim were meh (except Camilla)
ESO really makes Bretons far more interesting!
Great video y’all!
Camilla is an Imperial?? At least I've always thought that
@@MavenFade you may be right. I’m wrong about everything about 95% of the time
Camilla and her brother are both imperials @angel8fingers
@@darthsol658 I don’t have a problem with Imperials.
@@angel8fingers I never said you did
There is beauty in simplicity :)
Funnly enough my first playthrough of Skyrim was with a breton. Cause it seem like only normal looking race that i felt familiar with.
Playing a Breton right now, maybe my character can idolize this character.
This video was straight poetry holy shit
Love bretons.
When I was a very little kid, I had a book about Florence Nightingale and Clara Barton (originator of the Red Cross)
I was wondering when you would get to 1 million
A lot of the Buildings in Elder Scrolls as Medieval Tudor Design seems to be Breton, High Rock. Where as Imperial, Cyrodiil leaned toward Roman. As the Imperial Armor was clearly Roman, but missing the Architecture. Which was replaced with Aylied Ruins and White Gold Tower. MJY Roman Resources were supplied to Morrowind, but sadly not used. Would like to see them converted to Oblivion... 😈
Excellent as always. Thanks.
Grats on your millionth sub!
It’s Faolin the Red Eagle, he is the best Breton end video.
Ducharach is close tho
Faolan gang
All my homies love Faolan

Unpopular opinion: Bretons are the best race. Hail King Emeric.
The greatest Breton was Talos.
No, Talos is the combo of multiple people, Nord, Breton, and Imperial.
And no, there's other, greater, less maniacal Bretons than the warmongering Talos
^^^
Talos being a conglomerate of multiple human races makes the most sense because he's the emblem of Man.
I thought he was a hobbit 😂
Talos wasn't a Breton, he was a Giant with the voice of a halfling.
*"Ah yes, Feudal Euro... I mean, High Rock. Where Bretons flex on each other, all day, every day, and water the lands of their province with their own kin's blood. The Direnni ruled in a far more civilized age."*
Stop qouting everything you say bro your not even pulling anything from a source why do you feel the need to qoute after everything you say literally everything
Why do you use the quotes
When your not qouting anything but the BS that comes out your mouth
To be fair, Dunmer/Chimer weren't much better in that regard (war and betrayal is written within their culture and history) and the Thalmor purge wood elves and practice Eugenics (though that admittedly, is a biased source). An then the Maomer had a firm beef with the Altmer, though that was years ago.
The only real win the Elves have over the races of Men in regards to violence, is that they generally don't jump to genocide to solve their problems.
@@lazilycatharticone4191
True, the Dunmer/Chimer left the Aedric Elven Gods, and went off to be seduced by the Daedra (poor Trinimac tried to stop them, but unfortunately failed) The Orcs aren't too bad either, except the raiders who pillage/kill innocents.
(Which means Bosmer and Falmer were 2 Elven races who didn't actively hate humans)
The Imperials slaughtered the Allied Aylieds who aided their people and Allesia just a century earlier, etc.
Elves don't seem as keen on Genocide, which you'd think they would considering the likes of the Aylieds or Dwemer, and yet, they never went ot of their way to do it.
I liked the lord of the rings reference
Nice Tolkien reference
Favourite race to play..there are so versatile..magic resistance is just so good
The greatest Breton was the folkhero of the highlands:
Ripp MacHunt
Glad I gave you a chance after you got my guy Talos with a DQ thought you were one of them Thalmor boot lickers. But in all seriousness love the channel and all the content you guys put out.
1 M , congrats 👍
Well, If Tiber Septim is a Breton then it would be him but I understand why you excluded him but if he was a Breton, Would he be the greatest?
at first thought I'd misread and clicked "the greatest Briton of all time" with the intro lol
Bretons are my go to race, but no one i know likes to use them some reason.
Better have Baron Othtek I think his name was, of Dwynned, who united the army and fleet of warships that somehow turned back the undead legion of Heymon Camoran and slew the Usurper.
The greatest Breton is the dragonborn
Who is also the greatest mage, thief, assassin, champion of all Daedra and accomplished all with little to no effort 😂
LETS GOOOOO BRETON KNIGHT BOIS!!!!!
You hit 1Million Subs! WOOHOO!
Just because he was born in High Rock doesn't mean that Tiber Septim was a Breton. Heb was literally named 'Hjaliti *Early-Beard*'.
Bre'ons are awesome!.

I'm a little sick and I don't feel the best and I have watched this video like four times since it's come out this is 5
I've always wondered if Early Beard while being born a Breton didn't actually possess a strong Nord bloodline in his family tree? Anyone else get that impression? This would further disqualify him from the august lists consideration in my opinion.
Bretons are the true master race
I'm an adventurer I can't be taking full spell damage damnit. Make another Breton.
