One of the "3 P's" - Packard, Peerless, and Pierce Arrow. Peerless was already in decline when the stock market crashed in '29, and Pierce couldn't survive the Great Depression. Packard did so by bringing out the model 120, and later 110, to compete at Oldsmobile's price range and they sold like hotcakes.

I really enjoy the coupes of that ear, but don't believe I ever saw a Packard coupe before. Just an outstanding car, and one of best built cars of it's time.
I have always liked Packards and I agree on the coupes. I only know of one in our area and it is a 38 that is a sleeper. I see it once in awhile at local car shows. It is a shame that they fell behind in the late forties and early fifties. They were world class automobiles.
