    Thanks Kat and Mark for the great explanations. I had not heard the british way to express distance in a city, which is , this many 'streets' from here. It's interesting in Mexican spanish we used both words for distance, blocks and streets. Blessings and Success.

    Hi teachers. Thank you fir the lesson.
    Check out is it used as noun? Are there any usage of this word as a phrasal verb? Thanks!!!

    • @highlevellistening
      @highlevellistening  2 месяца назад

      Good question!
      You can use it as a noun. For example: "What time is [check in]?" : "We will see you at 3pm for [check in]."
      It's used a phrasal verb, but it's never separated. "We need to check in at 3pm." : "Have you checked in yet?"
      Hope that helps!
