Most Disney villains aren't SLAIN, they usually fall to their deaths, and even when they are killed it's thanks to the efforts of a hero. Dr. Facilier was neither. He was dragged screaming into hell by an entourage of demonic spirits who used his own song against him. That's what evil looks like, the most acute Disney has ever shown it, and that's an accomplishment.
You're forgetting about Disney's Princely Badasses of Badassdom Prince Eric and Prince Philip Phillip is the #2 because even though he broke out of prison, freed his ride, took on a horde of pig lizards and laid the holy smackdown on the biggest baddest bitch of all the lands, he couldn't have done it without the help of those three colorful fairies. Eric is #1 because he had no help, no backup, and seriously no plan. He had a dinghy, a harpoon, and a shipwreck, and he still managed to kill the sea bitch who was infused by Posiden- _Neptune's_ Trident Hellbent on drowning the world

Shan Yu -- Went out with a bang. Frollo -- "And He shall smite the wicked and cast them into the firey pit." Yup, that certainly happened. Realistically Mother Gothel MIGHT have survived. She WAS a witch and there was no body left. A nice little loose end that could open up a sequel. I'm also surprised that, while in the thumbnail, Clayton didn't even get an honorable mention. What's up with that?!
DarkTentacles0666 no the moral of the story was don’t make deals you can’t uphold. Facilier was fine until he let the frog outsmart him and break the talisman.
+The Goat Leader Very true, although some of the final destination deaths were so out there that they didnt register with me all. (She spilt a drink on the keyboard and the screen blew up?)
Well, at least you should be thankful that there are a few Disney movies that didn't even bothered to kill off their villains such as Cinderella (both the animated and live-action versions), Lilo & Stitch, the Toy Story trilogy, Peter Pan and Return to Neverland, Pocahontas 1 & 2, Frozen, Big Hero 6 and Zootopia.
But yeah, I guess Disney does have like some kind of a fetish for being creative with most of their movies' respective death scenes. Especially for their villains.
I found Turbo's death in Wreck it Ralph surprisingly satisfying. The fact that his bug brain forced him into the (coca cola) lava against his will, and watching him try to futilely fight it was pretty awesome. Hopper's death is by far one of the freakiest, therefore one of the best (despite such cute bringers of doom :3).
What I didn't understand was why Disney chose to give the villain that particular name. In the books and past films, John Clayton, Earl of Greystoke is Tarzan's real name
If he actually did cut the vine around his neck, he still would have died with an internal fracture to all the bones in his body due to the height he was at when he got caught in the vines.
Well, to be fair, Sunset, you DID transform into a horrifying monster and almost completely destroy your school, and now you're calling somebody's deserved death scary.....
Have you heard that fan theory that it was Edna who designed Syndrome's outfit, and she deliberately gave him a cape hoping it would lead to his demise?
Scar did pretty heinous crime in familicide then blamed his baby nephew and made him live with guilt until he grew up and showed zero remorse. I think he's a bit like frollo in Lion Form.
This is probably an unpopular opinion but dear lord I love Facilier. He had personality, was unique, had motive, and wasn't just a typical witch/wizard villain.
Logan Wynn if anything I'm a part of that insane group of women who adore Frollo as a villain and find him somewhat attractive. Anything he does is awesome to us...
Don't forget the fact that Syndrome killed several superheroes to test his Omnidroid and make it powerful enough to defeat Mr. Incredible. Counting Pixar, he's the second most successful mass murderer in Disney history after Shan Yu Frollo is high on my list, though I feel Jafar should have at least gotten honorable mentions, he appears in two movies, is quite sadistic, and like Maleficent and Scar, has an epic battle with the hero. And his death is spectacular. Gaston is my favorite due to his "hilarious squeal" when he falls. Many Disney villains fall to their deaths, but no one falls like Gaston!
I rather enjoy the death of Turbo/King Candy/Cybug from "Wreck-It-Ralph". He undergoes the most bizarre transformation of any Disney villain, partially through accident and partially through his own lust for acclaim and power. When he's killed by a beacon, it's a rather unsubtle but satisfying depiction of darkness being destroyed by the light as well as a villain being defeated by the inherent weakness of his own nature.
King Candy's was pretty awesome. I always did like the lava ones, and there was an epic battle around it, plus they used the "diet coke and Mentos" thing for it. It was quite the grand finale of Disney villain deaths
Do conquerors count as mass murderers? I once heard it said, "Kill one, you are a murderer; kill a hundred, you are a monster; kill a ten thousand and you are a conqueror." War, after all, is hardly the same as killing in peace. Things to think about, I guess. I mean, if killing in war is indeed murder, what about the defenders? Are heroes murderers if they kill villains? What defines a hero and a villain?
Maybe the deaths of the Chinese army don't count as murder since it's in war (though Shan Yu's side is fighting for the wrong reasons), but the massacre of the mountain village, including the little girl who owned the doll, certainly does count.
No one...stabs like Gaston, wants a girl like Gaston, no one gets as much salmonella like Gaston! *And it's true that I have skulls in my eyes!!!* LET'S GIVE IT UP TO GASTON!!!
My favorite death in a Disney (animated) movie, wasn't a villain, wasn't a hero, just a random character. It's a scene that I think most people forget about, but it was just Disney showing one of it's darker humor moments, and I love it. Scene from Mulan. "How many men does it take to deliver a message?" "One..."
Oh yes spoken by Shan Yu, man that dude was boss! I didn't get what he said at first when I was little and now I see it that was really dark and I love it. Sheez and in a deleted scene he stabbed a man onscreen and while his falcon killed a canary the man kept from Shan Yu presumbably having a change of heart and was killed for it.
Yeah, most satisfying for me was Oogie Boogie because NBC is one of my faves. Plus, in Moana, Tamatoa didn't die, and in Aladdin, Jafar turned into a genie.
notre dame has my favorite movie opening. just the ominous sound of the bells then the choir rolls into the intro song... i would love to see a live adaptation with christoph waltz playing frollo.
The Queen from Snow White was always without a doubt the most terrifying villain in all of Disney films to me, so I've always found her demise to be the most satisfying. The voice actress really did a fantastic job on the role, too, keeping the queen cool, calm, and actually somewhat pleasant, but still a bit menacing in the early scenes, agitated and clearly starting to lose it in the middle of the film, and after she turns into the hag and is chased by the dwarves she has, at that point, completely lost her mind and become this raging mad woman. The bolt of lightning interrupting her evil cackle as the movie's score builds up to a climax is so satisfying, and especially with her her scream as she falls to her death. At that point, we've just had enough of her and her death scene is utterly satisfying. Nicely done poetically, too, as she dies being the ugliest person ever.
What else? I want to say "Don't go against your values like Froto," but then again doing that to get what you want is what being a villain is all about!
Can we also point out that Frollo says "And he shall smite the wicked and plunge them into the fiery pit." and then that's exactly what happens. Just not as Frollo had intended. Yet another reason why the Hunchback of Notre Dame is (and will probably always be) my favorite Disney movie.
It's not a real Bible quote but damn if it doesn't sound like one! HoND is such an underrated gem. I'm happy to see more and more people taking a liking to it.
Truly great storytelling with his death. And, it's one of my 2 favorite Disney movies (the other being Lion King, which also had great storytelling with the villain death.) I'm happy to see this movie get the love it deserves.
I love how Disney teaches us to believe in ourselves, pursue our dreams, and savor the deaths of our enemies, who were always wrong while we are always right.
Is it bad that when a villian dies I feel really bad for them and wouldn't want them to die Especially Dr Facilier and Scar even though he didn't die i feel bad that he had to leave as his face was terrified
My thoughts on these Disney Villain deaths. Syndrome - I agree with you guys, he's just a bratty little kid deep down. Idk if he really deserved his death though, he might have been redeemable. Sykes - This guy was a good villain. That subtle confidence of his was cool. With everything he did, his death was well-deserved. Doctor Facilier - An awesome death for an awesome Disney Villain in an awesome Disney movie. I liked seeing this guy actually nervous and desperate. Mother Gothel - This witch deserved her death. It was a nice end, too. Maleficent - I was almost disappointed when she died, because she's one of my favorite Disney villains. Ah well, the bloodshed made the scene better. The Evil Queen - What Happened to her wasn't enough. Kill her a couple more times, and then I'll be satisfied. Ursula - How I feel about Ursula is similar to how I feel about Maleficent. Enough said. Scar - Well, every tyrant has his downfall. The scene was great. Gaston - The Disney crew did well with Gaston, changing him drastically. That being said, his death was good. Frollo - One of my favorite Disney villains ever, his death just adds to my favoritism. The score and his scream makes this scene even better. Those are my reviews ^^
My friend....if u want the REAL DEATH of the evil queen....read the original story.(or look up the books actual ending.. its much worse and satisfying than the movie)
The Disney adaptation of The Hunchback of Notre Damme was a tad adult for kids anyway. They tried to disguise it, but anyone could see Frollo's lust for Emeralda
I really didn't hate the character though, thought he was a very entertaining villain…plus his face that appeared on the tombstone was just the icing on the cake for his death, his…pretty disturbing death
I went into that movie fully expecting to hate Ray and just find him endlessly annoying. I cry at his death and the scene where the second star forms next to Evangeline EVERY TIME I WATCH THAT MOVIE.
I think that Snow White is a vampire because of her looks (her pale complexion, raven black hair, and red lips), the fact the queen needs her heart to kill her (vampires need to have their heart destroyed), and the fact she convinced 7 men to let her in and her control over the animals top (she can control them with her mind)
Kon .D Oriano Well, I also don't like how she needs to be saved by a prince and carried off. Maybe you're right, but I choose to look at the world a little bit differently than the average human.
Everyone in this video dies the most proper way possible, however, there are some definitely deserves much worse than what they got, such as: Lady Tremaine, Lotso and Governor Ratcliffe...
Honestly Ursula has forever been one of my personal nightmares Disney gave me when I was a kid, her death scared me so badly. However, I think the top 1 is still the most satisfying, that bastard had it coming all those years ago when he first killed Kasimodo's (and I'm sure I butchered his name) mother.
@@harryrobertson5869 It is actually Latin for "in what way?" and refers to the first words in a sermon, that would be on the same day as Frollo started to "take care" of Quasimodo.
*King Candy/Turbo in Wreck-it Ralph*: killed by a boiling soft drink geyser... which acts as an erupting volcano in the Sugar Rush video game. That felt sooooooooooooooo good. He usurped Vanellope's place in her game after his own game lost popularity and got shelved. He got even stronger after merging with a Cy-Bug, a creature that Ralph brought from another game, Hero's Duty. In short, when the Cy-Bugs invaded Sugar Rush, he basically tried to take advantage of the chaos to kill both Vanellope and Ralph. The sequence where Ralph slams the volcano to make it erupt is stressful and leads to one of most memorable quotes in a Disney movie. In Hero's Duty, Cy-bugs are attracted to beacons, similar to a fly attracted to a lantern... and unfortunately, Turbo gets attracted to the geyser in a similar fashion, and you see him struggling to avoid being burned.
I loved Scar when I was little. He was simply my favorite and I hated every other character in the movie, so always when it came time for him to die I closed my eyes. Definitely the part I hated and still do!
When I was little every time I saw someone die in my favorite movies like The Lion King I had nightmares for weeks.Scar was cool but my gosh, he haunted me.
Bunnymallow334 I know and I felt bad about him until he tried to kill all the main characters... Again. He had no fix and he brought one of the most tragic scenes in Disney/Pixar´s story, I´m talking about the moment they all thought they were going to die burned. I couldn´t help myself but hate him afterwards xD
When I was young and first saw Tarzan, Clayton's death scarred me, still does. Even in the animated television show, Tarzan is shown having nightmares about his death
When I was young I thought he just fell, but didn't understand he accidentally hung himself. The dark death is actually kinda suiting as the original Tarzan stories were a bit dark at times.
Trust me, Gothel didn’t even care about Rapunzel, just her hair. The animated show reveals she even abandoned her own young daughter to the guards when she abducted Rapunzel as a baby.
Dr. Facilier in the grand scheme of things isn't all that bad. I mean he does some mean shit, but for Disney, compared to other villains, he really wasn't that bad of a guy...

Ghostkaiba297 Syndrome ALMOST killed ALL of the superheros
*And it's true that I have skulls in my eyes!!!*
LET'S GIVE IT UP TO GASTON!!!
Cheezcake Da Cake i
😂😂😂👏👏👏
Cheezcake Da Cake gift it up to our favorite Disney villain (or is he) Gaston just because of his spit
Onion San and no one's vain as Gaston, causes pain like Gaston, no one does at night in the rain like Gaston.
no one lies like gaston,no one dies like gaston,no one can exemplify bone-headed heads like gaston!
Dr. Facilier died? Dang...he was on my list of the few “villains” that I loved along with Scar lmao
He got the Dementors Kiss of this world. “A fate worse then death if you ask me”
@Balance of The hill jeez
Dr. Facilier's death was scary and evil asf😓😖

Man that scared I said the s word in my head
Shan Yu was definitely one of my favorites, but Mushu takes the cake as my favorite because he was a comedic little rascal ;)
XD
holy shit yeah that was a great one
mhm
least satisfying for me was Mr. Facilier it was friggin scary tbh and most satisfying for me was probably Oogie Boogie
Same here. I also like Lyle's death.
Coinye
Facilier is my absolute favorite
Yeah, most satisfying for me was Oogie Boogie because NBC is one of my faves.
Plus, in Moana, Tamatoa didn't die, and in Aladdin, Jafar turned into a genie.
Mr.facilier was my favorite oggie boogie for the nightmare before Christmas was kinda good

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is so underrated
I like how Frollo describes his own death
I love that movie so much!
My personal favorite Disney movie! I love it so much!
ikr? The first man who wasn't looking like "prince charming" had a beautiful ending for himself. He even got married in the 2nd one
notre dame has my favorite movie opening. just the ominous sound of the bells then the choir rolls into the intro song... i would love to see a live adaptation with christoph waltz playing frollo.
Am I the only one who thoroughly enjoyed the art style of Atlantis?
No, you are not. Atlantis: The Lost Empire was a gem. Shame people didn't see its beauty when it first came out in theaters.
It was a great movie.
I really did !
Not at all. It was one of my favorite movies.
It sorta looked like a 2D Dreamworks of its era to me but less good
The Queen from Snow White was always without a doubt the most terrifying villain in all of Disney films to me, so I've always found her demise to be the most satisfying.
Yes. Great villain & terrific scene.
I like that the bolder follows her off the cliff. And that the vultures take enjoyment in her demise.
Frollo has the best villain song ever
yes,yes he does
Not according to Watchmojo they put Hellfire at #4 and Be Prepared as #1
No Scar does
Stop at 10:31 u will see something that is so bad
See what?
Note to self when I become a villain: have good balance!
and don't wear capes
YES!! Forgot about that (I somehow knew there was more)
Don't want to end up like syndrome
What else? I want to say "Don't go against your values like Froto," but then again doing that to get what you want is what being a villain is all about!
And don't go against anyone on a Cliff or a high place
Can we also point out that Frollo says "And he shall smite the wicked and plunge them into the fiery pit." and then that's exactly what happens. Just not as Frollo had intended. Yet another reason why the Hunchback of Notre Dame is (and will probably always be) my favorite Disney movie.
It's not a real Bible quote but damn if it doesn't sound like one! HoND is such an underrated gem. I'm happy to see more and more people taking a liking to it.
Damien Huff Frollo deserved to die the way he did and he died screaming
Truly great storytelling with his death. And, it's one of my 2 favorite Disney movies (the other being Lion King, which also had great storytelling with the villain death.)
I'm happy to see this movie get the love it deserves.
"A-FUCKING-MEN!" - said Jesus from Heaven as he tipped his shades
The reason that Hunchback is my favorite movie is because of that EPIC FINAL BATTLE!!!!!!!!
I always wondered why there was nothing but her cloak left when mother Gothal landed. I never noticed that she was actually decaying at rapid speeds
I love how Disney teaches us to believe in ourselves, pursue our dreams, and savor the deaths of our enemies, who were always wrong while we are always right.
Is it bad that when a villian dies I feel really bad for them and wouldn't want them to die
Especially Dr Facilier and Scar even though he didn't die i feel bad that he had to leave as his face was terrified
No it isnt
@midniteryder Dr. Facilier honestly kind of didn't deserve it tho
@@gibygaby2778 He used the dark spirits and he didn't provide anything to them, so he had to pay with his soul, he knew the risks.
Scar was eaten
Yes It's kkinda bad. Mmaybe you have stockholm syndromme
No, Zelda. You don't mess with kids.
Whoa whoa Whoa! You think the murderous Syndrome could’ve been REDEEMABLE!?
The Disney adaptation of The Hunchback of Notre Damme was a tad adult for kids anyway. They tried to disguise it, but anyone could see Frollo's lust for Emeralda
Scar is my favourite villain tho. Manipulative, intelligent, charismatic, GREAT singer, badaas scar,I could go on.
Dr.Facilier's death literally made me scream when I was younger, because I thought they were about to come eat me.
Hades isn't in this list because he isn't that much of an asshole villain. Everyone loves Hades.
Plus he really didn't die. He just got knocked into the pit of lost souls. He climbed back up... eventually.
like duh who hates Hades he's awesome
You mean, IF, he gets out XD
SbAsAlSe HONRe oooo I saw what you did there XD
SbAsAlSe HONRe If... if is good. XD
I know he's a villain but I love Doctor Facilier. His end was ... gruesome.

I really didn't hate the character though, thought he was a very entertaining villain…plus his face that appeared on the tombstone was just the icing on the cake for his death, his…pretty disturbing death
Dr.Faciler's death was pretty dark but he deserved it because he killed Ray... I'm still not over Rays death
I hate Jake Paul me neither
I went into that movie fully expecting to hate Ray and just find him endlessly annoying.
I cry at his death and the scene where the second star forms next to Evangeline EVERY TIME I WATCH THAT MOVIE.
I agree
now that was a dark scene
You don't deserve that fate for killing a bug.

You gotta admit. The witch doctor from the princess and the frog is kinda cool.

+Anonymous Shadow you do have a point. I think it belongs better on the chart. Thatd just cause Iike lion king more than the hunchback.
Dr. Facilier’s death is giving me *going to hell as punishment and betrayal vibes.*
Which is what makes his death so satisfying and terrifying.
Its not too late if u become a Christian, Hell won't be able to touch u
I think that Snow White is a vampire because of her looks (her pale complexion, raven black hair, and red lips), the fact the queen needs her heart to kill her (vampires need to have their heart destroyed), and the fact she convinced 7 men to let her in and her control over the animals top (she can control them with her mind)
Raven Soren you read too much into things
Kon .D Oriano Well, I also don't like how she needs to be saved by a prince and carried off. Maybe you're right, but I choose to look at the world a little bit differently than the average human.
In broad daylight, and killed by biting an apple, yeah that's not likely
I think scar because he had a bruldo death
I've seen 7 out of 3 of them

Everyone in this video dies the most proper way possible, however, there are some definitely deserves much worse than what they got, such as: Lady Tremaine, Lotso and Governor Ratcliffe...

Honestly Ursula has forever been one of my personal nightmares Disney gave me when I was a kid, her death scared me so badly.
However, I think the top 1 is still the most satisfying, that bastard had it coming all those years ago when he first killed Kasimodo's (and I'm sure I butchered his name) mother.
Me too😨😱😵! And i even had nigthmares of her giant form too many times.
It is spelled Quasimodo. I think it is French for "miniaturely formed".
@@harryrobertson5869 It is actually Latin for "in what way?" and refers to the first words in a sermon, that would be on the same day as Frollo started to "take care" of Quasimodo.
It’s odd you find deaths as “satisfaction”.
When a villian does alot of bad shit, you cant help but want to see them get what they deserve
It's funny to see how all those "dead" villains are alive in Descendants
Lina Neko I have a Descendants OC. The daughter of Dr. Facilier. Idk.. I never use it, I just liked making it.

Dean Natuno yup
MrJechgo yep

CryingBuddha I think the main thing he did that justifies his death was killing Ray. I was still sad to see him go tho, Facilier was so charismatic.
He was dragged to hell. He did not deserve what he got.
In the movie, at least. We don't know what he did before this, or what debt he had to pay.
