- In this video, I go over a timeline of events that transpired in the St George area of Bristol, England.
On the 19th of February 2015, Becky Watts was murdered by her step brother Nathan Matthews with the help of his girlfriend, Shauna Hoare.
As a local resident who remembers the case very well, I decided to make this video to help show others what happened and keep her name alive.

Investigation strategy is like night and day comparing Uk and USA .. the 2 most noticeable trends are very few guns in the UK and the treasure trove of cctv ... thanks for sharing this I hope your dispute works out in your favor

I think you mean may Becky rest peacefully. Shauna was one of the scum who killed her.
I think Nathan Matthews should never be released, he can find a victim to kill at any age. But Shauna Hoare doesn’t look like the type for committing more crimes. On the other hand I find 17 years a bit short as a sentence for a murder.

Inserting themselves into the Investigation and hiding in plain sight. We all know those sayings thanks to the Delphi case.
@@DividedKingdom I knew that before the Delphi case. A young girl close to here went missing and her killer was helping with the search for here. This was way back in 1993. Yup they do.
They say if someone is murdered or missing it's most likely the husband, boyfriend, family...someone close. That's scary! The people you trust the most.

Hi true crime bloke. I'm from the sw UK too. So nice to have UK crime delved into deeper. I hadn't seen a lot of this content. You come over really well and talk beautifully. This could be your unique brand. US people are smitten for a posh UK accent. I follow armchair detective then in turn greeno, the captain and now you. You group seem to be the no drama truth finding community. It's very refreshing after all the drama with bullies in the Chris Watts case. So great to have another brit on side. Went to Bristol a year ago to take my dog to the vet hospital there. Walked around the forest under the bridge. Was lovely. Found where Joanne Yates lived. That was so heartbreaking. Remember it like it was yesterday. Would love you to do content on that case and more UK murders. AD does an amazing job but great to have another one. Keep up the good work.

This case is heartbreaking. I’ve heard of this case as I like UK true crime. I like to see the way LE works there because it’s so much better there than here frankly.
Becky was such a beautiful girl. Anyone, let alone a step brother, would be a monster to harm her. I honestly don’t think I could stay with my spouse if this would have happened to one of my daughters. As I understand it the perps mom has MS and is disabled. Maybe Becky’s dad felt he needed to help her.
I will never regret my decision to not become involved with someone after my divorce when my daughters were youngsters. This case just underscores that I may have made a wise decision.
Sorry, but you just have no idea whether this is likely to happen or not. Incidents like this are extremely rare. A friend of mine has just gotten married for the second time, has a new stepdaughter and two sons of his own. I won't be going to them and telling him he's made a bad decision because there's a risk his son might kill his stepdaughter.
Unfortunately evil is everywhere, and is completely random in most cases. Sadly I think there was little that could have been done once Nathan decided to kill her, other than Shauna trying to change his mind. His mother was ill, and it's easy to underestimate how manipulative and calculating some people are in covering up their true selves and intentions. A truly horrifying case.
