You are right concacaf football is not easy one of the American coache say that ,he said let them Europeans team come our qualifying for World Cup, concacaf is the hardest dog fight ,Bruce Arena said that when 🇹🇹 2 🇺🇸 1 on a rainy day in Trinidad.
I always tell people Concacaf and International football is harder than club football especially the EPL but people used to laugh at me when I said that. Now people are starting to see what I've been saying for years. People please don't get too hung up on EPL or JPL because you've been watching it for years. Evaluate the players that fit your program and what you are trying to accomplish because not all players are ready for this challenge in Concacaf and International football. Some are just simple club players not ready for the next level. The highest level of football is International football.
A top Cocacaf team,e.g., Mexico,USA,or Canada, can occasionally defeat a higher ranked team in the world. But most Concacaf teams are ranked lowly by Fifa because of their record..... Yes,Concacaf is hard but, that's not to say it is the toughest in the world.... Putting together players who don't have playing chemistry with others plus, working with Coaches who expect different things from the club Coach all have a lot to do with this.....
Real talk G football in CONCACAF is not a playing thing it doesn't matter what baller we get from Europe it will not be easy for them CONCACAF is a Lion den no kitten in this Concacaf don't get it twisted
I think the argument that it is difficult to play in concacaf is interesting... The part that says players will not press good opponents is reasonable... so, it seems to me that if our concacaf defensive players were of the required standard they would not be pressed constantly... therefore it would not be as difficult as they say it is. Take a look at the USA game Jamaica played in the US before the 1998 World Cup (available on youtube)... our ("local") players were confident in their own abilities (including 19 year old Ricardo Gardener), had time to play, were good passers of the ball, and played to a consistent strategy... imo too many of our fans today reason without logical argument and so end up muddying the water of analysis instead of helping others to clarify the issues. Just like in the rest of the social and political discussions around our country's interests many persons just hype without logically trying to get to a reasoned position that will help us advance our interests... Our current defensive players get pressed because they do not have the required standard of ball control and/or the requisite passing skills... consider Cavalier's Richard King who exudes confidence in his ability and makes few mistakes, if any, and therefore EARNS time on the ball and delivers (even long passes) accurately and with a sense of purpose. When pressed most of our current defensive players make all types of mistakes including passing the ball directly to the opponent in their own defensive area... and they reap the negative consequences...
Is that to suggest that concacof is more challenging and as such requires higher level of ability ..higher level of skill...to play concacof...and with all that. ..is it to suggest concacof is a higher level..Because higher skill is required..?
@eddyvision it always boils down to what you're use to. People criticized JPL players that they're failure when they are on trial in Europe is the same way the English players are failure when representing Jamaica. They're not good enough to represent Jamaica but they're good players in they're leagues.
Football has change we stuck in 90s😮😂jah jah everything what we do now you have to be educated in someway
