OMG I just fixed the broccoli cheese soup in the Bread bowl and it is definitely a keeper!! Especially when I’m having cravings for richer foods! I am so glad I have all your cookbooks! I just got the kids cookbook ,I’m not a kid but wow it is wonderful! Thanks for keeping cooking so easy and fast.
I love the idea of the bread bowl. I’m fine with only soup but my husband burns way more calories and that bread bowl would make it so filling and fancy for him.

Hey Kiki!💞 thx so much for sharing so much good vibe and info for our benefit. I wanted to offer a suggestion in response to your comments not long ago regarding eating fruit/raw in the winter. I first made tea as well like you but then I came up w the idea to put my raw and/or frozen fruit on the stove in a little plant milk (and often chia seeds) and warm SUPER slow and low to just barely above room temp. It has done wonders for me, esp since in the Ayurvedic system I am primarily Vatta dosha, which runs cold naturally and is very affected negatively by cold foods in the winter. Understanding your personal constitution/dosha is extremely helpful for tailoring any eating habits to your personal needs. This is perspective is often lacking in most dietary systems. We all have different needs and @ different times, seasons or stages of life. Hope this insight helps folks here read watch to find their own individual needs. Much love to all. P.S.-love that you followed your heart back to your mountains. I was a Frisco girl @ one point and can attest to the magnetic pull of those mountains! May your family thrive. 🙏

I've been oil free for two years now and I just continued to use my non toxic stainless steel pans. I actually think the pans clean up easier than when I used oil which was so surprising because I thought the oil was supposed to help!! If anything sticks I just soak with a little water and scrub clean with a stainless steel scrubby.

Something I don’t understand is how this version of cheese is different than dairy cheese in terms of fat and calories. Between the potatoes and cashews, I’m thinking there’s quite a bit of fat and calories in the plant based version.
I've often wondered the same. Unless you're just really wanting to avoid all dairy, a little cheese can't be much different from a calorie perspective than the cashews. Cheese would certainly be easier!
Most of the recipes are nice (at least the ones I've tried) and Kiki is an agreeable youtuber to watch, but I honestly cannot understand why there are still ppl in 2023 selling the "get slim" narrative, when there is so much scientific literature proving that diets don't work. I think it's triggering and saddening.

I use stainless steel but you have to make sure the pan is very hot before you add the veg.
