I can’t say with 100% certainty bc that was 15 years ago but I’m pretty sure Tebow was the favorite coming into the 2008 season. He won the Heisman in 2007 and was back in 08. Fairly certain he was the favorite. But Stanford was in the conversation, but that’s also to my point. Georgia QBs, within the framework of our traditional offensive approach, don’t get opportunities to put up Heisman numbers for an award that is exclusively driven by numbers these days.
