    oh man, the nostalgia. My dad had exactly the same equipment in the early days. Started with the tape deck and later on the disk drive. I've played thousand of hours on this thing. The torture the joysticks had to overcome...... current day joysticks would break after several hours :P

    I know this is an old video but for future reference... Please, only one music at a time. :) Mute background music when game music plays. Cacophony is a torture. ;)
    Besides that, a nice to watch video. :)

    Ja mam w szafie Atari 130XE z turbem od 26 lat oryginał pudło ale magnetofon trzeba naprawić, masakra ale jestem stary, coś pięknego i magicznego było ja się gierka wgrała. Atari i Commodore zawsze rywalizowało, pamiętam jak na ławkach pod blokiem kumple pisali Atari to syf - wypalali napisy lupą, a ja wpadłem na lepszy pomysł i na wszystkich ławkach dookoła napisałem Commodore to syf ale palnikiem na gaz ;) rozwaliłem wtedy wszystkich, kosmos. To były czasy..... Kochałem swoje Atari ale czasami na Commodorce też grałem bo miała wypasioną gafę Pozdrawiam !!! fajny filmik który odejmuje 25 lat !!!!

    Atari 800xl is much simple to charge some game cos you just have to insert the disk to charge but commodore have to press many keys. A long time you left use c64 you could forget.

      ...but C64 has better graphics and sound... and better arcade conversions ...hey man like it or not that is the ugly true!!!..hehehe

    • @alexandervalle525
      @alexandervalle525 4 года назад +1

      Dear I just only agree with you with better conversions. It is just the only true but that is not for being the c64 machine best machine. If we tal about history the programmers of a800 went to work to c64 and that is the real true. Since last year I know that atari nothing to envy to c64 cos the programmers demostraed real capabilities like games as RPG (excelent colours and graphics and original game), take a look of the game Raymaze (practically equal to arcade), pang (better sprites), flower mania (better than tetris), also we have thetris (the best conversion ever) and so on these games was developed since 2010 to 2019. Now we talked about the graphics and sound c64 has sid a800xl has pokey you said that sid is better practically I say NO...well about tecnology it is a little bit true but no at all example compare zybex's and draconus themes respectivily in both machines for being honest atari 800xl is much better. Tell me where is the tecnology of sid c64????? And thee graphics im atari 800xl no are bad but atari can improved a little it is a not really inportant detail at all cos be improved (but certainly are not ugly or less bad). And finally my friend the colors it is the part tgat I am completetly disagree with remember that atari has 256 colors in its pallete the c64 has less and it is a real true the better conversion and original games their colors are not so intensive like atari 800xl let's see the good conversion of r-type (the best conversion undoubthly is the sega master system but this other topic) the game have good playable, good sound and the theme is acceptable but the colorful mmmm lacks of intensity and I am not refer colorful like spectrum that's too much. Finally with this long details I give you I don't want to make a war with you or putting down c64 gamers lovers. Both machines are really good with advantages and disadvantages. Have a nice day!!! Good video games for ever!!!!!!
