People often forget how important proper tooling is when creating something complex like a game. I also really respect the statement that they are going to ask the community for feedback. It's rare to see this kind of dedication and maturity when it comes to indie games or any projects in general.
Yeah it’s definitely not as much stuff compared to last times progress report, but still some interesting stuff nonetheless. Also is that a plant pot full of human limbs in the bottom right corner of the screenshot of the bedroom in the demon realm?
Yeah while I liked the gag as a gag I am glad it was left as optional unlockable material and not spliced into the main game. What I love about the game is how it plays its scenarios straight for the most part, and Andrew breaking down with the Olive Branch is one of THE most character defining moments for him and Ashley, the fact that he wants to, desperately wants to regress to his old life but cant and feels trapped, helpless and hopeless. It solidifies the Decay route for me and makes the contrast from burial all that more poignant. To play it for a gag flat out would have done more harm to the game in my opinion though I can understand Nemlay's desire to make the gag ending to point out its sheer stupidity for the fans who likely pestered her to add it as an option due to them not seeing just how terrible Mrs Graves is. Nothing good would come from siding with her over Ashley, and Ashley is a devil worshipping, cannibal, psychopath.
@@Randomositysweet In other scenario, they just try to not spoil the game too much with preview videos, releasing joke videos and making steam polls are perhaps a way to interact with the community without providing them with new ep 3 stuff, while buying some more time to polish ep 3, just hang in there for a little more (3 months at least).
