I live a couple blocks away. Did you explore the whole mall?? The elevators that serve the three main mall floors are just down the side halls near these ones on both ends of the mall.
My favorite of that mall is the nice big 2 freight elevators up on third floor, down the service hall behind the food court. It says "employees only" but its wide open and all kinds of traffic goes in and out of there. This elevator used to be a way to access the cinema without paying . I dont know if you can still do it.
I like this mall because there is also the hall to the skybridge which will let you explore the omni hotel, has nice machines there. and the Convention Center some very nice ones even the parking deck elevators are good. i almost don't mind paying to park
