@@Charlie-go6eb I didn't say it was a new or different technique, I said I did woodgrain back in the 70's, and it was nothing new, been around for decades, just digital age people are learning an old art. It was the same thing, tape,, apply base color, sponge drag grain, and finish it up with airbrush highlights.

I learned and did woodgrain airbrushing back in 1975 with my Thayer and Chandler AB, nothing new or exciting here.
