I don’t know how I found puddles the first time on RUclips but I cannot stop watching. Had my wife watch a couple songs and she loves them too. Please come to Phoenix for a concert! It would be my first concert in well over 30 years (63 years old now). Your voice brings me to tears.
I'm a disabled veteran with PTSD and on 4th of July the fireworks don't agree with me so this year I sat with my headphones on watching all your videos and it helped a lot watching and listening to you kept me focused the hole time. Thank you for being you!
"From a cold steel rain" (rail) after all it did rhyme with pain. I caught it right away, but went along with it because it worked. Only after listening to the song, did I read in your description box, "Can you find it". I've been binging on your awesome renditions of classic rock songs for the past week! Thanks Puddles, you really blew my mind with "Brain Damage".🎵☮🎵👍
I get the same way. I lost my 4 month old daughter 28 years ago. I wonder what my life would be like if she was with me today. I hope to see her on the other side. I am truly sorry for your lost. Stay strong 🙏
Puddles, I don't know how you do it. I'm a grown ass man, way over the hill. You're singing a song that I've heard, sang, partied to, countless times. I've heard it covered many times but never thought I would ever hear a decent cover of it. Wow! Now I hear you do a cover that is not only good, but seriously rivals the original. (I only wish it was longer.) I'm damn near as big as you are, and yet I sit here, wide eyed, slack jawed, and mesmerized as a little kid that's just discovered that sound can be something beautiful. I've listened to it four or five times, back-to-back. These covers you've been doing lately have been some of the most passionate and emotionally powerful solo performances I've ever experienced. You have a unique ability, a gift... Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us. I don't have a suggestion to offer but I know that whatever you do next will be beautiful and powerful and mesmerizing. It's the only way you seem to know how to do it.
Bob McBride same here. I partied to Pink Floyd music many times in my youth. back then I don't know what I wouild have thought if I'd seen Puddles sing it. lol Fast forward to today, and I'm loving this guy's voice!
I'm 19 so I'm currently rocking out to pink floyd in my young years. I absolutely love the original but I totally agree that this is probably the only good cover I have heard of wish you were here

Kudos to Bob McBride, Annette, Nick and Taidgh! and of course Puddles!................... Pink Floyd Forever! Puddles, once again, I find myself transported to a space in my soul I never really go. When you sing, I am reduced to tears. In a good way. In the way of healing, and wonder, and growth. Thank you so very much dear Puddles. Thank you. For being you.
I saw him from a 2nd row seat in San Antonio in 2019. He OWNED that house for 3 hours. And in typical style, he spent the intermission wandering the balcony giving hugs... endlessly creative and surprising, deft use of video and recorded tracks. A genius, in my mind... then go look at videos of Big Mike Geier and he is as "normal" as you can get...

I asked Puddles to come to the Newton theater before it was cool, and he did. Even came to me and shook my hand. A true gentleclown. Hoping he will return to Newton.... :)

I'm crying. Jesus, I just saw this man on the talent show. I searched him up online and I managed to find his You Tube channel. I really want to tell you that you're a really beautiful person. I really really wish with all my heart for you to grow. Your music just made my day because I just got a phone call this morning, from someone really close that they tested positive for covid and it broke my heart. I wish I could be there for them, but I can't. Your voice gives me comfort in a way I can't explain. God better bless your little heart! Glad you exist!

Puddles, I'm getting old. New music escapes me, and I think you are the best thing to come along since the Mountain Goats. If that even means anything to you... Anyway, I'm a die hard Waits fan, and thing it would make my year to hear you cover his song "time". It would make my decade if I was able to see you live. Do you have plans to ever play Naha, Okinawa?
today is my grandpa's death anniversary and this was his favorite song. he introduced me to pink floyd as well. this version of yours is so raw and full of emotions. i just sat in awe and cried and cried. i wish i discovered this cover when my grandpa was still around. thank you for this, you don't know how much i needed to just breakdown and have a surreal moment remembering my grandpa. thank you again.
Sorry for Your loss... I share no sad memory with any of the songs but the choices and covers are so good, so great expression... Puddles makes me weep like a child.
After watching a load of your videos, it was during this song I though how much I'd love to see a documentary about you and your gift. Thank you for captivating like no other artist can!
You have an amazing voice. Honestly, I got chills, especially the shift from gentle singing to powerful singing like at 0:42. Clown outfit was a nice touch too lol.

Anyway, I'm a die hard Waits fan, and thing it would make my year to hear you cover his song "time".
It would make my decade if I was able to see you live. Do you have plans to ever play Naha, Okinawa?
Love this song and watching Puddles sing it makes me love it even more. Man, i wish Puddles was our President!!
I have a fear of clowns but I'm not afraid of you because you cover my favorite songs. Merci beaucoup.
If he does neil young old man I'm going to cry
Yesyesyes!
Who ever gave neil young a microphone should be shot fuck his voice is terrible!!

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong. Now piss off wanker.
@Erasmus the blasphemous
Nah, even he disagrees with him.
today is my grandpa's death anniversary and this was his favorite song. he introduced me to pink floyd as well. this version of yours is so raw and full of emotions. i just sat in awe and cried and cried. i wish i discovered this cover when my grandpa was still around. thank you for this, you don't know how much i needed to just breakdown and have a surreal moment remembering my grandpa. thank you again.
Sorry for Your loss... I share no sad memory with any of the songs but the choices and covers are so good, so great expression... Puddles makes me weep like a child.
my grandpa died first lol
Thank you. One of my favorite PF songs.
I would love to hear Puddles do "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" using that fine operatic voice to its fullest range.
He did!
I got chills...they're multiplyin'!! AWESOME!
His singing voice is equivalent to Morgan Freeman's talking voice!
YES!!!!
godlike
Ya, that's about right.
Puddles used to be a heavy metal singer.
@@Kwanglebeh Perhaps, but I think I seen him on a variety of talk shows back in the 90's too.
After watching a load of your videos, it was during this song I though how much I'd love to see a documentary about you and your gift. Thank you for captivating like no other artist can!
You have the most beautiful man voice of all
I agree
Gênio ! Very good !!!!!!!!!!!!! Big hug from Brazil !!
Hello!!!
Mi canción favorita de todas las canciones que se hayan inventado. Long live to Pink Floyd
I could listen to you sing all day and then some.....💙
PUDDLES: YOU ARE A NATIONAL TREASURE.
^^^^^^ This
Fantástico! Maravilho!
I think I'd like to hear " I'm so lonesome I could cry " AWESOME .... !
I’m listening and crying, thank u very much🥲👍👍
You have an amazing voice. Honestly, I got chills, especially the shift from gentle singing to powerful singing like at 0:42. Clown outfit was a nice touch too lol.
100%
Puddles is my preferred frisson dealer.
I have a Puddles party every time I need a pick me up.
Well, considering P3 is a clown, the outfit is a bit of a necessity.😂
Soundgarden Black Hole Sun
Nice choice!
yes.
or Keeper, it's very pretty.
I`d love to hear that rendition.
Or anything by Chris in his honor.
This song usually has a depressed feeling to it but i never listened to it and cried...until today...
just a simple thank you Mike. saw you live pre -Covid and it was wonderful as a show.
Shhhh! Don't tell the others, but you're my favorite!
Sad that the truly talented don't fit the image that holly wood wants to box up and put on a shelf. Instead the truly talented have to find a Shtick and run with it until acceptance. You rock dude!!
Having this version played at my funeral.
