Eternal Love is simply fantastic, both storytelling and production. Mark Chao is hot hot hot! I rate Xi Feng's love in Love and Redemption higher, because he would never betray his love the way Ye Hua did. Everyone be damned, but he'll give everything to protect her. It's the most otherworldly and perfect love I've ever seen in a drama. I'm on episode 22 of Ashes of Love and the drama has everything! So funny, such good acting and writing, stunning set design. I'm loving it!

Wait, what? I thought Ashes of Love had a more open ending, it left me thinking for days. The only thing that kept me alive was that bride-in-carriage scene at the end.
@@Veralidainai They showed their young son at the end. He was telling the story of how his parents met and fell in love. They even showed the Emperor of Heaven and the Demon Princess’s daughter. It was a good ending. They got married had a son and lived away from all the drama in heaven and hell ❤

I read that actor (Mark Chao) wasn’t available for the wedding scenes due to schedule conflict.
The Eternal Love Of Dream has different production/director from Ten Miles Of Peach Blossoms.
Only Yang Mi was available for the cameo role.
I also read that the original actor to play A-Li was already older to play the part, so it was re-cast (played by a girl).

The original writer wrote two novels. One is about Bai Qian and another one is about Fengjiu. The director of the first series didn’t want to go for the second novel. So she put Fengjiu and DongHua’s story in Ye Hua and Bai Qian’s story. This is directed as the novel, but have some changes in scripts.
