Awesome box. The last guy is Denny McClain. Great pitcher who got in trouble with betting and dealing with the wrong people.

Love the 69 Topps box! Really cool pickup.
Some gorgeous cards shown. You're definitely picking up some high eye appeal cards. I don't really understand what the point of the Mike Baker service is? You already know the cards are beautiful so what is he providing? It seems similar to the PWCC extra stickers, which nets those cards more money in PWCC auctions which makes PWCC more money for their cut. I just don't see how it fits for PC cards. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for all love! So yeah even before I heard of MBA I focused on nice eye appeal. I guess it falls under the same idea as getting a card graded in the first place, minus the encapsulation aspect for protection. There’s a million PSA 6s of a card for example but MBA could help the market identify which examples stand out amongst those. Yes, personally I don’t need Mike Baker to tell me if I should like a card or not, especially if it’s a PC piece I don’t have intentions of moving. MBA certs (silver or gold diamond) do help the card fetch for more $ in the market. I know that first hand as a buyer and seller. At the end of the day I keep my core collection but have moved PC cards to acquire other PC Cards in the past by either trading or selling. In theory if I were to move a card that was a gold diamond I feel I could ask slightly more overall for it. Which in turn would give the fella who I’m dealing with a sort of guarantee he’s getting an overall great eye appeal card front and back without having it in hand or dissecting scans. Also the gold and silver stickers look cool in my opinion. 🙂

Man, I always look forward to your videos as they never disappoint! I love your eye for cards and I collect in a very similar way where I put eye appeal above everything else. I absolutely love that M116 Tris Speaker as it’s one of my dream cards to get one day. Super cool that you got the 69’ Topps box in New Hampshire (my home state). I’ve been meaning to ask, but was wondering what you use to do your scans for your cards on Instagram? They look great and I am hoping to get some high quality scans of my cards rather than just from my phone’s camera.
